Hi,

Been using this program for years and never had an issue until now :(

When I open demonbuddy it continuously looks like the computer is working (busy symbol on the mouse) and it seems to be doing something, but Demonbuddy never actually opens. Upon checking the task manager i can see it in an infinite loop of opening and closeing demonbuddy (process ID keeps increasing rapidly) but it never actually opens no matter how long I leave it. It opens and closes so fast that I am unable to even end the process without using taskkill in command prompt, where up to 3 processes can be running at once (because the program starts to open them faster that they close.)

I have tried:
Upgrading the old version i have.
Downloading a new zip and running that.
Using the installer from the website
Using the Beta version.
I have uninstalled 2015 redistributable both x86 and x64
I have tried the Buddy Wizard.
-When using the buddy wizard it shows x86 and x64 as missing and so downloads it and install it. I tried uninstalling the redistributables myself and allowing buddy wizard to install them, but everytime i open up buddywizard it again shows them as missing and redownloads and installs them again.

I have tried running everything related to this program as administrator and even tried compatibility as Windows 7 (clutching at straws).

I checked through the forum and can't see any solutions but if i have missed something obvious please let me know!

I'd love to get this back up and running.

Machine Specs:
Windows 10 Pro

I doubt the hardware matters but if you need it let me know.

Cheers,
Dark

Thanks alot for all of your help Tony and get that sorted for me, excellent service for a great product!

For anyone else experiencing this issue, i had a rare set of circumstances were the folder it was running in (my desktop) was actually a junction to another folder. Though previous versions had run fine, when we removed it from the junction and put it onto the actual main C drive, the program ran fine!
Looks like permissions were the cause, which is a bit strange as we forced permissions for the files and folder with full settings and ran the program as admin, but eh. It works now and hopefully someone else gets an answer from this.

Thanks again Tony, consider this one closed :)
