I have tried your suggestion which was removing the windows redistrutable and rebooting then re-installing as admin.
Not getting anything in my log either.
I also noticed that Demonbuddy doesn't crash until it starts to try and create the thread, or session. For example, if a session is already in use because of the crash, and I don't go to buddyauth and kill it, demonbuddy will be fine until the 30 seconds are up and the session has ended then it will crash.

Have tried to change the compatibility to windows 8, as admin. I should note that I am running Windows 10 Pro and have just recently re-installed from Windows 10 Pro and was working fine earlier today, no significant changes to the system.
