Your best bet is to post in the support forums.
When you do, include a log. If you don't include a log, then the first person who comes to help you will just say "post a log" and you will have to wait again after posting it for a support member to come back around to view the log.

My first suggestion is to always try a fresh install. If you don't want to lose all of your settings, then you can just re-use the settings folder from your old file after a fresh install. I would see if you can get it working with a fresh install first though.
