demonbuddy crashed + vmware

add an exception on your firewall/antivirus
 
I was copy demonbuddy on the disk "C", but now I have a new problem with demonbuddy crash.

and window error: "The exception unknown software exception (0xe0434352) occured in the application at location 0x7526b760"

I have already installed .NET 4.0 Client Profile and Extended also Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86.

Hi Codename,

I am in exactly the same situation as the OP. I was also trying to follow the guide in the original post. So it seems I have downloaded and installed the framework4 & c++ files and still encounter the same crash. This is my first time using virtual machines and ***, am using VMWare and HMA ***. I find the batch files referenced in the guide referenced above pretty hard to follow as a newcomer, but this crashing error I'm really struggling with! I don't think there's much in the way of firewalls, even my host has windows protection and 3rd party security off. The exact error message I get when launching demonbuddy is:

I reinstaled VMware and now is all ok. (I had a problem with a complete installation .NET 4)
