Tried Cold Marauder but it's a bit slow even with ancients, probably need to change settings or it's just not capable of finishing 60+'s with 10 mins to spare.i stopped playing DH. however using marauder set with slight changes, and most ancient gear
i could farm GR67 between AVERAGE: 7min (best) -11 (worse) min. with some exp gear i would get close to 100,000,000,000 per hour. however i cant get close to 120bil xp like the barbs
my best was GR 70 12min50 i left it on overnight on MAX but it didnt get 71..dies alot in GR70
default trinity settings. turned avoidance off, as vault would dodge stuff anyway. u can even swap vault for invisibility 1.5 seconds

Using UE atm.
we have to take a hint from barbs and use esoteric alteration gem sadly. This is a huge hit to dps however i can drop unity, while i can do up to 65 with out it,i tend to start needing it.
Atm i can do 65-70 and rather slow as i do 70(i dont do runs that take more then 10mins as you're better off dropping the gtr rift level). on that note, some rifts take 10 mins, some take 5, luck of the rift sadly.
65: 5-11min
70: 12-15 min (Edit: after checking, alot do fail and my bots not quite ready)
71+: face tanking here sucks and i may need unity back. if you wish to do 70 plus may cap out at 73-75

fire damage on amulet (crit,chd,fire%)
only about 280 on my ancient gear (first pass for upgrading using caldasanns, next is preped at 350 min)
800 paragon +
2 emeralds in pants

i can see this it capping out at 73-75ish once i really get it going. if your aim is to farm paragon and return to dh later, then there's alot more options out there.

Can you post your d3planner? Also your Trinity and DH settings, because when I use UE set in grifts it always facetanks and drops the 60% dmg/reduction buff.
Well with perfect gear and 1000 para, i'm assuming that marauders will come out on top at 71ish, and UE 70 when it comes to farming exp(obviously 73-75 will be possible at 10-15min clears at some point, expecting perfect gear 1200 para+). Barb will be capable of doing 73-74 at acceptable speeds for exp, and WD will get around the same exp doing gtr rift 75-76 at slightly slower clear speeds then barb.
I do believe we will finish on about 80-90b exp an hour(currently 60-90ish myself on the lower end, while barb will be capable of 90-120b. WD much the same around 110.

After the first 2 weeks i am thinking of switching to barb/wd to farm para for 2 months before switching back to do some final pushing, assuming i'm not banned by that point. 8-9 days and 800 paragon already... there's also the option to farm gear on DH while i farm keys for the barb/wd exp pushing which i'm considering.
Also keeping in mind that each gtr rift level increases HP of mobs by insane amounts(17% compunding?), however the exp of just 1 gtr rift past 65 is noticeable as well.

also travelers pledge and compass rose, havn't found acceptable items to do that combo yet.
To op: the only advice i give if you use UE is set kiting up at 8-10 yards so it keeps that 60% damage/damage reduction active and doesnt try to kite for days. any of the diablo fans UE set builds work for this also.
cube dawn/visage/ CoE or Unity. gems i like zeis, trapped and esoteric(Taeguk is popular, will have to edit to keep the buff up).
combat tab --> Misc Subtab--> avoidance settings:
-Attack mobs in AoE
-Kite to Avoid death on low HP ( i dont have this ticked due to esoteric, i dont drop low enough or get 1 shot, but can be useful pre 65 )
Combat tab --> DemonHunter subtab --> Kiting:
-Always in combat
^ Kite Trigger Range 8.0 (8-10, 10 if you want to be 100% sure on uptime of buff)

obviously this isnt my profile, it's what i'm aiming for with having +350-400 dex on all items. i'm not close to this yet.
Swap out leech for cull the weak and change 22% area damage on weapon to lph. depends on what drops for you. need 20k lph
I set those settings and it is still dropping the buff by face-tanking =/
hey, fellow demonhunters. The problems with vault are well knows and it's an issue with how db handles movement detection with vault. The leap is simply not being registered.
Now this in combination with how trinity targeting works(this is where the kite settings kick in) it wont change target unless the target is dead, thus making the dh look like he's facetanking, when in reality of db and trinity he's not and if these 2 issues would get fixed we'd be golden. Hopefully xz and jubis will fix it when the day comes.
Now for the settings that I found to be best suitable and generally not face-tanky, unless there's just huge ammount of mobs:

running gr68s in 5-9min time depending on the rift, done gr76 by hand
the only change ive done recently is combat-misc: trash mob pack size 2 and cluster radius 90.
This means that the bot wont attacks unless there's 2 targets in a 90 radius circle and it's mostly set that low to prevent any door stucks and so on.
