Demon hunters are currently almost unplayable, namely been only using the Free Set so far, which is the Shadow one, even after manually fixing not casting spenders the class overall is buggy, 99% of the time trying to break destructibles with marked for death unless getting stuck.
If you play with Vault it will almost guaranteed miss the rift boons(will test increasing delay on vault), therefore I have to play without it, which obviously slows down the runs. Setting kiting trigger range does almost nothing really, it will still come upclose to the mobs and only afterwards start kiting and by that time there is a big chance you can get 1-shot in g-rifts.
I really don't get why can't the bot just be forced to stay away from mobs as if there was a force field, almost like it does with explosions, except for zapping back and forth.
Not trying to hate or anything, I've been botting with WD in the past and never had this many issues.

I really hope that other builds will make it more bot friendly, because currently it's a real challenge. Playing by hand I can easily do double the the difficulty the bot can, which I am ok with, but would love to make it as perfect as possible.
If anyone here has good experience with botting high lvls on DH and wants to share his settings or knowledge I would really appreciate any help with tweaking my settings or custom .cs

I know, but it's the start build, I can't get better right now anyways. Plus my issues have nothing to do with impale, to be precise.
 
Could you please provide a diablofans link to the build you're using? I get the impression it's not currently supported by Trinity.

I might have figured out why my DH refuses to kite whether I set kite trigger to 0 or to 20, it's cause the weapon is a 1h dagger and it tries to come up in melee range to auto attack with it. Not 100% sure yet.
Also what I did to fix impale is simply removed dependancies for it in the dh.cs for the time being so it would spam it.
I also increased ranges on different aoe abilities by a few yards, still gets hit hella hard, oh well.

Can you post your dh.cs so it gets it to spam it for the time being?
 
alright, good stuff. In the meantime is there any way to prevent that melee_attack being done at all so that character doesn't come in melee?

it's alright, hopefully my marauders will be complete soon, feels like it's the better way to go, due to indirect dps being made mostly and pets tanking :)
 
same here .... for one week i try to make my multishot ( multistrike ) working on boss alone ( without trash ) and monotarget
( i don't use gainer in my build )
 
Is there way I can adjust the radius for casting Fan of Knives? It almost seems random at this point and most of the time no monsters are near, I would rather perform Fan of Knives when crowded by 4+ monsters or on elites/bosses. Anyone know?
