Could anyone please help, downloaded DB and paid for key but on start up I get demonbuddy has stopped working error.

This is from the windows event viewer. Tried running as admin and compatibility mode for Win 7 and XP SP3... same problem

I just downloaded and installed the latest version, same problem.

Is there something else I have to install?
 
I tried logging in as a different user (clean profile) and get the same error.
 
There is 5-6 Threads with the same log of peoples client crashing as soon as it open and none of the devs/admins will respond. getting pretty redic.
 
agreed 1 week into my month sub and not worked once! why doesn't this bot have download instructions if req when first downloading???

Have you tried this?

remove:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable

restart your pc,
download the installationwizard https://www.thebuddyforum.com/attach...uddywizard-zip
run them as administrator.
after wizard installation is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart
 
yes tried it quite a few times, when I run the wizard it does the same error

- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable

Can you explain how to do the first two? The last two are via control panel> programs right?
 
Ok I fixed it on my pc

1. uninstall demonbuddy
2. uninstall all microsoft c++ redistributables in Programs
3. remove all .net versions using the dotnet cleanup tool:

4. reboot pc
5. run buddy wizard https://www.thebuddyforum.com/attac...t-try-buddy-dependency-wizard-buddywizard-zip
6. download latest and install demonbuddy

now it is working for me on windows 10 64 bit
 
update to the latest DB build and if you still got issues

open a new thread providing your log file plz
