now been 2 good waves both EU ban as NA, is this saying that DB is 100% detectable and would like some developed could comment and give explanations on the subject since, for example in my case I will buy another account diablo 3 .... but not if DB trust or try another alternative.
sorry for my English is not very good but I hope you understand me
Thanks and I hope your answer

its not detectable by warden or other anti-cheat measures blizzard deploys, if it was then the second you launch demonbuddy you would of been banned, not after so many hours of running it. chances are what we think is happening is blizzard has stepped up doing some server side pattern detection over to catch people running the same patterns over and over, public profiles and people who heavily run private profiles would both be effected as the server would of picked up on those patterns. i want to state this is all guess work and speculation as since no one actually works for blizzard no one can tell what blizzard is actually doing or what method they really are using to determine if people should get banned or not. we do know that normal legit players are also getting caught and it is not currently ONLY effecting Demonbuddy users.

thanks for your quick reply :), now I can only ask you, which is what you suggest from now when using the bot? and how can we expect to get it back up and running?

thanks a greeting

Luckily I did not get banned and I was botting on my main through the last two banwaves. Then again I never botted that much and have logged a lot of legit hours on the account. After this I'm gonna take a break for awhile again.

dont run public profiles if you can avoid it then do so. mix things up and dont always run the same things. its hard to say for sure at this point but adding more human randomness into what your account is doing is going to be better for you in the long run.

thank you very much :) attempt to try a test account the bot but logear not let me get a message telling me "tripwire" is disabled or something?

Love the program but would really love it if the explorearea tag would get a heap ton of love in the next db release.... If that tag was expanded upon we could add quite a bit more randomness to our profiles and still maintain decent GPH.. Just my 2 cents.. You guys are great btw :D ...

Also it cant be a DB detection as I still have 2 bots remaining that were running 24/7 the last few months and they are still standing as of this second....

Edit: It has also been stated numerous times and from a programming POV it wouldn't be outlandish for Blizzard to have enabled flagging based on pathing or behaviors... i.e. Hit 100+ flags and your out... Who knows though...

im sure all options to combat this kind of server side detection will be considered. ultimately it will be up to the developers to pick a solution thats not only going to work well, but scale across a couple of thousand users.

as far as your edit, i agree with you, lots of those kind of solutions already exist it wouldn't be hard for them to take a solution similar to this and modify it to do what they need it to.

Another thought is they had one hell of a maintenance period last patch... It was probably all prep work for today's banwave I would imagine... Mass processing of collected data that took a greater than expected time to complete, hence the time delays from expected?

Just talked to a buddy who started 3 more bots this week and they weren't touched while his other 9 are down for the count.. So I am thinking 99% of the detections were pre 1.0.6 maintenance/patching.... You guys have probably already figured that much out though.. :D

well it would take a lot of server power to do that, so it wouldn't surprise me.

Yeah this is what I was mentioning in a previous post. It seems like a heat map could easily pinpoint the bots movements because although the profiles can be random, the click points are pretty much the same. I've noticed this is one thing all the bots have in common. Before the ban wave, I was running on a noob account for less than a week and doing full act runs, so I have a hard time thinking its from multiple game creations. A lot of legit players run identical runs too, so I think it comes down to the heat map more so and the fact that most human players will never click the same places twice in repeated games. Not nearly as much as the bot does. The bot also does diagonal and linear directions for obvious (programming) reasons.

Either way, they are hitting all 3 quickly and easily and its happening at identical times. I have a hard time thinking its related to staff investigation, although I do think they have this available in their arsenal as well.
