default mage routine casting Life Leech twice on most mobs

been questing on the default mage routine. Constantly the bot is casting life leech twice on the mobs. I first started to notice this if I had my back turned to a mob when I got aggro, I would cast life leech, spin and cast it again. Now it seems to be casting life leech twice no matter what direction I am facing. I have been going through the logs to see this, but the double spell cast isn't appearing.

Anyone else notice this happening for them?

actually, watching it a bit closer now, I just noticed its casting essence link twice each time now, too. Its harder to catch that because its an instant cast. This isn't appearing in the logs either.
