The current Blood Rotation works the same as Frost and Unholy at the moment. It will use the highest DPS option, which in this case is the wrong choice. I'll add additional scaling to Death Strike as your health falls which should fix the issue. I'm hoping to push a new version today which means you all will have access to it in the next few days.Hey mate! This looks exciting!
Im considering trying this for the some highend tanking, but I am curious how it would Work?
I much prefer to have my defensives to pop by myself, so no issue there.
But from a rotation point of view... Say I am picking up adds .. I would need it to spam Blood Boil for agro, rather them fx a Deathstrike for more damage...
On the other hand, if I am low, I would need it to do a deathstrike, rather then the optimal DPS option...?
This is correct, you only want to use the toggle if you DO NOT want to use Blood Boil ever. This is pretty much only the case when your raid tells you to focus down a single target.I assume the AoE toggle is purely if I want to toggle it on in a setting where I am not allowed to AoE, otherwise it swaps by itself yes?
#DeathKnight doesn't have any knowledge of encounters, so it doesn't know when adds are going to spawn. With that being said, I think maintaining a 15 stack NP is the highest single target rotation come 6.1. I'll run some tests and if this is not the case, then I'll add a toggle for it.Does it factor in if its worth keeping NP up at 15 stacks (necrotic) or does it only snapshot what would be the highest DPS then and there? (in regards to the 6.1 NP buff)![]()
EDIT: I ran some tests, and it looks like with the current PTR numbers Festerblight does more damage single target than a standard rotation. This is true for my personal gear level, but could change depending on your level of mastery. With that being said, my gear only has 35% mastery (which is pretty low)
This is something I want to add, but it won't be in the next version. Probably the one after that.oh and the smallest of Things, I would love it if "DPS Cooldowns" included on-use trinkets![]()
