Any possibility of doing a rotation for BoS?

Tolraucion has been working on BoS support for a while now, and in the current beta builds it is working very well. In my recent tests I've gotten an average of 28 second duration on the boss pull, as Unholy and Frost.
 
I once suggested a BOS key where the cr would save as much runic as possible before and during it.
 
So I heard some DKS can keep BoS up throughout the whole fight? is this even possible? (jellosDK) on warcraft logs blood DK

its the blood multistrike mechanic, if you multistrike, you gain runic power... as unholy bos should be ~15 secs/usage, on the first use up to 30 seconds...

Well geared Blood DK's can have 100% uptime, you sacrifice survivability to do it though. However, the next version will allow you to get 100% uptime if you have the gear for it.

With the current beta as Unholy, I generally get 28-30 seconds on pull for BoS, and then 19-22 seconds post pull.
 
i know you dont like the question but any progress informations? im too afraid to ask for an eta ;)
 
Small suggestion that is a possible DPS boost:

The rotation is using Empower Rune Weapon when there is Runic Power available to use Death Coil (as Unholy). This is a dps loss, as you can use Death Coil to generate Blood Charges (for Blood Tap) or get a proc of Runic Corruption, both of which generate runes, which in turn gives you something to be using, which makes it unnecessary to use ERW. As it stands, it's using ERW way too early, when I have easily over 70 Runic power and sometimes even Runic Corruption buff and a rune coming up really soon.

This would be a good dps boost for next version :) Cheers

  • Fixed a bug causing delays when switching targets

Since this is such a large update, please let me know if you see anything that's going wrong or should be improved.

but something odd going on ... maybe just to me :S

but i feel the frost keep stoping in some point when i start hit target ... and do only auto attack... for like 8 sec or more and then back to normal and do rotation

here is my logs maybe you can know why :SS

Could you add functionality to edit which and when survival cooldowns are used.
Yeah, that's a possibility, but it will be the same as the DPS cooldowns. Thus, the options would be: Never, On Boss, and Always. Also, it'll just be checkboxes for which cooldowns to use. I want to stay away from anything more complex than that.

My guess is that you're using 2h frost. The rotation for 2h frost is such that it waits for nearly full runes before using Obliterate. This way you get as many Killing Machine procs as possible. This can mean that it can wait for up to (rune speed * 2) second or about 14 seconds max. It isn't wasting runes or runic power, so there is no damage loss. This is actually a damage boost for 2h ^_^

you didnt get what i meant or i misleading you... because of my poor English ... >_< sorry for that

i have knowledge about my class .... been playing since wrath....

when i said odd because the bot stop for over 8 sec or more... even when i have full runes :S its just keep auto attack.... should never wait too long to use it... i can understand 3-4 sec but not 8 sec... w/e i could be wrong :))

and what i mean by odd because while the bot do the auto attack ... if i press Obliterate ( with full runes ) the bot back to normal and do the Routine just fine :)

i did test it for like 5-7 time... i'll test it again.... after my raid... and come back with logs :)

somehow hotkeys will still refuse to work over here, DnD logic has been changed aswell? before i could pop DnD on boss and then CR would keep on popping DnD which is for example pretty nice on beastlord, now however it doesnt do that anymore and makes me need to spam the key for it aswell and after a lot of tries it might work if im lucky, do not have a log for this at the moment but can be uploaded if you need it
