First off, my bot when running through an area with aggressive mobs, if aggro'd, it will keep running for like 3 seconds, get off my mount, and run back to the mob to fight it, that's a general mechanic that pisses me off.

Also, the bot needs to not have pathing that throws it through alliance bases, mine has done it countless taps.

Also if you're going to charge 32 dollars US, you should have come profiles that work FOR SURE, I've yet to find a good working horde profile for 60-70.

The bot thinks it's stuck constantly when it's not.

And the error where if your bot crashes and you try to relogin and it tells you Authentication Failed, and you have to wait for the server to clear your session before using the bot again is also annoying

Unless I'm retarded and these are all easily solvable, this bot requires far too much babysitting, it's never made it more than a couple hours without user intervention.

At the risk of sounding like a yes man supporter. Honor Buddy gives you all the tools you need in order to be able to make your own profiles. Maybe your like me and you enjoy the profiles that people make out there in the community, but just from my experience the bot works. It has it's flaws but most of the time I think that HB is smarter than the average player out there.

Post your logs for your crashes at least or submit a bug report so it can be looked into. A post like yours doesn't do much help in finding a solution for the set of problems you maybe having.

QQ ?

What do you expect? A magic button that lvls you too 85 with a single button?

If they had that they could charge 200 dollars and people would still buy it.

They give you a car and gas but you do still need too drive it and its finding good profiles which make sure you dont need too watch the road alot :)

I'm not expecting a 1-85 EZ button, I'm expecting something that I can check a few boxes, put a decent profile into and leave for 6-7 hours to do an effective job of building a decent character.

60-70

As far as I know all 5 of the top ones there work. I think between 60 and 70 I had to manually intervene maybe 4 times and most if not all of those have been fixed since I reported them (using the RedFaction one mostly, and the compilation one for some grinding spots). Were a number of times I set it going before bed and it was still running when I woke up.

Also, the bot needs to not have pathing that throws it through alliance bases, mine has done it countless taps.
This is a profile thing. If you find your bot doing this, report it on the profile thread. I know for certain the RedFaction one above has good blackspots to avoid this. You can also add your own blackspots if need be.

As far as your initial complaint, thats per design. I agree with the design, but wish it would change its target to the closest aggroed mob, instead of running back through a pack to get to the first one that aggroed me, but I can put up with it. If the bot:

a) Just kept running until it died, or:
b) Stopped every single time it got aggroed even if it could get away

You'd complain about either of those behaviours too I guess? It attempts to find the middle ground, and keep running unless it calculates theres too much damage in which case it tries to fight instead. Unless of course you have "kill between hotspots" turned on, in which case you're actually telling it to stop and fight all the time...

I think there should be an option right next to kill between hotspots, that being "Respond to aggro". I wish my bot would go STRAIGHT to a hotspot, if it pulls aggro keep running. I just started the RedFaction, I hope it's good, thanks for the response.

Further, yes I understand I am bitching, and if this were a free bot, I certainly wouldn't, I put 32 dollars down on this puppy though, so I think I can complain just a bit.

I see this behavior all the time, when running questing profiles. Grinding profiles don't move between areas rapidly (i.e., they are not "on a mission" as questing profiles are), and tend to keep the 'area behind them' clear of mobs--so people that just grind never see this problem.

Basically, the problem is almost always fatal for my mage and rogue (squishie classes). By the time Honorbuddy decides to stop and fight, its got between three and six mobs that are aggro'd on it.

I've been unable to determine the cause of this. "Kill between hotspots" slows questing progress horribly, but it makes the problem go away as long as the toon isn't mounted. And, of course, I have "Ground mount farming mode" turned off when I'm questing, so that feature isn't the cause of the problem.

It is a problem, but difficult to set up a testable scenario to write up a bug report.

just another datapoint,
