The hb team is just too small, hands down no arguing here.

Demonbuddy has problem since long time, hb has problem, just one view into buddywing to see it needs a lot of work too...

Seriously buddyteam this is NOT meant to be a flame but if you want to be big and support several games you need more developers.

I am long enough customer to say that, i know how things are done here. Years ago honorbuddy was way better than today. Now we have several bots everything works a bit but nothing works perfect.

And this was once the peculiarity of honorbuddy, to be the best...and it has gone.

You should seriously think about your business model and how you want to be noticed on the market as your once very good reputation isn't what it is now.

Some time ago, when someone asked me "hey do you know a wow bot i need to..." i said "sure!here use honorbuddy!!"

If now people ask me i say "mhhh yeah...there is honorbuddy..but..."


Your devs give statements like "we are working 90 hours per week" and stuff...it clearly shows it is too much work for a too small team.

Bossland do something! If you can't pay more dev's then change your business modell to subscriptions.

But you, buddyteam seriously have to wake up! Do a survey asking "who is honestly satisfied with hb" perhaps than you realise and change something. Or do a survey asking "Who would agree paying subscriptions for a better bot service/more devs" and you will see!

theres plenty of these posts.. we are all in the same boat as you but people flooding forums with these posts will not help anything nor speed anything up, things will get better trust me.
 
I agree that they are understaffed in terms of coders but not moderators or administrators or PR BotOperator.

I know there are a lot of threads but i want to know from bossland why they don't make a subscription model. EVERYBODY can see from the dev's post that it is just too much. Working 90 hours a week..is ridiculous.

You can't provide good quality like that. And that is what we currently have.

If you lead a software company and grow, your team has to grow too to provide updates in a reasonable way and quality..simple as it is. Right now we are all handled like beta testers(demonbuddy release..no need to say more) since a long time....and not like end user/customer.

There is nothing wrong with providing negative feedback for a product or service purchased, some might even say it improves the product or service.

i work 80-90 hours a week every week....hence why I bot lol
 
I do agree on your comment DaSoul but i also understand it takes time and money and in this world those are the most precious things TIME AND MONEY..

It all comes down too how much money is this bot making for them.. I mean it could be very little and its more of a hobby to them, or it could be ALOT of money and then obviously they should take care of there cash flow because once the customers are gone the money goes with them..


Also competition i dont think theres many solid world of warcraft bots out there there for NO PRESSURE on making it perfect hey because we have no choice but to be HB customers..

All i can say is its not perfect but it gets the job done id rather have a bugged HB then NO HB..

I have always said even if Honorbuddy dies TODAY i got so much from it I will always be satisfied and greatful..( also thanks for my many banned accounts LOL)
 
I would gladly pay more money for better service. I imagine there are plenty more like myself out there.

Stop whine please and think of all you have done with Hb.
 
i dont think the OP is whining. he's pointing out some things and not everybody has been using HB as long as you to gather 5m gold 10 90's and 18gbanks of shit. some of us like me have just started with HB and i'll admit this bot is really good WHEN it actually works.

I'm not whining. I'm simply saying that, if paying more money such as a subscription fee would allow for a larger dev team, I would be all over it. Having worked in the IT consulting business for years, I understand the dev process and what is required when projects grow. A subscription may be necessary to be able to provide a stable and functional release cycle. There is a big difference between constructive feedback and whining.
 
Apparently people don't know how to respond critique around here. OP isn't bashing, he's just displaying the feelings and concerns that a ton of us are feeling right now, and believe it or not.. concerns and suggestions are what help coders and such to better their products. I'm sure the Buddyteam bots are great when they work, but the fact of the matter is that they don't work as well as they should, or at all. A lot of people are saying their bots work just fine. If that's the case, please share your secret. I spent ~$32 on this bot last night and I haven't been satisfied since my purchase because it's either:

1. Bugging out / stopping.

2. Now receiving authentication issues.

I bought the bot with a friend that I talk to every day, and we both have had the same issues.. so have plenty of people as they have described on the forums. Am I mad? No, of course not. I just wish we the customer would receive some consistent information as to why the product we purchased is having issues. The forums may look easy to navigate, but they're not.

While I appreciate your appreciation for what the HB team does -- your sentiment falls a bit short "it gets the job done"

The main reason we are all hear complaining -- is that this bot in fact does not get the job done.
Not at all..
We may get lucky for a few hours a day here and a day there ...

but the core features of this bot are not performing to the standard they should be at this point and time.

So i repeat what others have said -- I would pay more --- even repurchase price - for a WORKING bot with more devs and more help.

We aren't here as a mob to lynch the devs and HB team -- we bot for certain reasons -- my reason -- I own a thriving small business that keeps me busy day and night -- I want to stay competitive in wow -- I don't care about making money off of the bot -- i just want to stay up with my friends without grinding for hours and hours for gear.

These days I spend more time trying to troubleshoot the bot than actually playing/botting wow.

This is a huge concern for me.

so flamers and fanboys pay attention -- my post is not attacking anyone --- I understand the devs work hard -- it's my personal belief they just don't have the manpower / man hours to pull this off.
They seem spread thin between all these bots they have and the only one i care about is HB.

I'm just throwing my hat in with the others that are willing to pay more for a better bot.
