DB vs VS - Just a simple question

Just a heads up, I am a owner of 3x life time packages of 3 sessions of DB so I am not here to compare bots or bash any company. I just have a question!

Currently I am running 9 bots using Demon Buddy, .118 is working great for me and I am pretty happy with the current performance of DB and know it will be the best bot out there soon enough. However, leveling on DB kind of sucks right now due to lack of good profiles and lack of navigation perfection which will hopefully be fixed eventually. I use to use VS but switched over to DB after the patch and haven't touched it since because I read it was 100% detected. I am sure a lot of you are VS customers also.

I have a 10th account now, and need to level it so that I can start farming gold. If I used VS to level it to 60 which I can do in one day with that bot and then switched over to DB once 60 for farming gold and never touched VS again ... could getting that account banned link me to all my other accounts using DB and risk losing them all ? I have no Idea how Blizzard is monitoring this stuff right now and if they are investigating deep enough to link many accounts to one or if they are just banning accounts based on detections of 3rd party software. I paid for many of those accounts using the same credit card anyways so if they wanted to link the accounts they could probably use the payment information used. from what I can see on the VS forums, they are not detected but I trust hawker more than the stubborn kids on VS forums bashing DB. does anyone here really know if VS is ok to use for just 1 day to level and then switch over? or is it insanely easy to detect and high risk of ban ?

- btw , I am not scared of getting banned. I have had like 25 WoW accounts banned before and don't care. I am not here being paranoid about losing an account, but that doesn't mean to be careless and risk losing 9 accounts over 1. I am not sure how Warden works so I figured I would ask the experienced users to get some thoughts and opinions on the risk level of this decision.

In past banwaves it didn't matter if you were currently using it or not. If you had at any time used the other included in the banwave you would be hit.

I say don't risk it, wait for local nav and just chain run a quest over and over.

It's too soon to tell how they handle this stuff.

In my WoW experience, I've had my botting accounts banned while running my main account, that was left untouched even though I was using lazyraider atm, all on the same computer.
I have also had 2 accounts that were out gathering, banned at the same time, and a third account that was levelling with HB not touched, all on separate computers.

So, going by that, I'd imagine a GM personally checks what you're doing. They don't blindly pull the trigger on everything that's connected to your IP.
Will they do the same for diablo? I doubt it.

I think that if IB is detected (I'm still running it no prob), they'll just flag your account and ban all the flagged accounts at one time, and that any account that's not flagged will be safe.

But, like I said, it's all speculation. It's too soon to even try to make an educated guess.

TLDR: I think you'll be safe, but I don't take responsibility if all your accounts end up banned :P

Go ask for a VS dev, oh wait, they disappeared off the planet. The name of Bossland alone in the botting community is huge. It's like buying Keds, and asking if they're as cool as Nike!

Hmmm thank you.

Yea VS is iffy as hell when it comes to support and not keeping their community up to date. who does that? lol, fuck it. Time to hand level.

If you ask me right now? VS> DB, if you ask me maybe in 3 months? probably DB>VS

For a change i can actually use their bot and make some money and not have to babysit it like this DB one

Do you want to be banned? Go with VS.
It might be faster, but warden is scanning for it now.

It's really not that hard to level with DB. I haven't used other bots, but it works just fine for me; using the .118 version.

Here is how I level my characters (it may be slower than other methods, but it works great for me):

Act 1 - The Fallen Star - Wretched Queen Farming - Normal (2 - 18'ish)
Act 3 - Core of Arreat - Normal (18'ish - 25) (Painful to watch, due to a lot of deaths, but it gets the job done)
Act 1 - The Fallen Star - Wretched Queen Farming - Nightmare (25 - 48'ish)
Act 3 - Core of Arreat - Nightmare (48'ish - 50) (Painful to watch, due to a lot of deaths, but it gets the job done)
Act 1 - The Fallen Star - Wretched Queen Farming - Hell(50 - 60)

Also note: I keep my characters gear updated every 5 - 10 levels, always with +XP gear and best weapons DPS possible.

After trying to bot my new accounts up for a two days, I gave up and plvled them through ZK. Much, much, much faster.

Just sacrifice a main acc to plvl instead of farm for a few hours, and you'll have another 60 ;)
Small initial sacrifice, but saves so much (potential) time spent on botting to 60.

wrong place to ask such a question. if you want more objective answers post on ownedcore, theres a good mix of VS and DB users.

Yea I tried that nightmare wrteched mother runs. My bot keeps getting suck, I also use .118 on that and set kill radius to 120 and use unstucker plugin. Haven't had any luck.

I don't know about others, but I use 20 Kill Radius and 45 Loot Radius. Try it out. Anything over 20 kill radius, and my bot wont attack.

I cannot stand DB right now nor can most the people I know using it. They all complain about crashes and dieing during teleporting and such.

I have 3 accounts running IB right now and making 500k/h with it. Personally I feel that VS is better right now and when the ban wave hits (its been two weeks now) I will simply buy more accounts and maybe try DB if its better by then.

I've made over 3k using VS - the time to strike when the iron was hot passed a long time ago - DB was too slow coming out and even now it can't keep up. In a few months? Sure it'll be the best bot but by then gold will have no value and most the good farming locations will be fixed.

Lol, you mean in a week, when this bot will be CRUSHING any GPH that a IB user can accomplish. Also, don't forget the ability to pick up items, discriminate, and keep the goodies when the new patch hits.

The only stable version is 95. And now? 125 is out and still bugged like hell with a non-working nav-system. I also give much feedbacks, because i like DB and VS. I personally have running 2 PCs with 25x VS 60 Fps on each nonstop. Do the math by yourself. VS wont be banned, if u check them, u know why. Only problem so far, they have massively chargebacks and needs time to sort out and update their version. And DB? Same PC-configs, still can run 9x DB on each and my PCs are 100% loaded on crappy 30 Fps. The profiles stucking like shit and the GBP is horrible compared to VS. And yes, i own 21 DB-licences atm. So i know what iam doing and what iam talking about.

Atm: VS is much bigger then DB, in all functions and no one ever used them can say its a lie.
In few months: If DB version 2+ is out, i hope they are good at all and fixed all problems. Maybe then i switch completely.

They haven't had "massively chargebacks". They have had people refund, but they knew that would happen with the current state of the bot.

I've been running revision .100 and have had 0 crashes, and only the occasional IP drop because my router is unreliable atm.
I can't blame that on DB.

Yes, there are problem.
They are working on them as fast as they can.
I believe they have one dedicated DB dev, and 2-3 supporting when they are needed.
It just sucks that they have to try to make a bot for a shit-coded game like Diablo.

If you want safety, DB is hands down the best bet.
If you want speed, I can't speak as I haven't used any others. But from everything I've heard VS is currently faster.

I give the buddy team 1 month and there wont even be a competition. DB will be the best, but may not currently be the fastest.

VS did.
A couple patches ago the dev said the site would be down for upto 12 hours before updating, because he was moving servers due to constant DDOS.

Retards thought he jumped ship and started charging back, instead of waiting those 12 hours.

That said, their support is... barely existent.
IB may be better than current state DB, but Bossland is LIGHTYEARS ahead as a company.
