I can watch the memory usage of Db climb steadily while using it. is there anyways to stop this? i mean, i gets up over 1gig memory usage.. or isa this just me?

i have a feeling the map viewer is leaking memory, i was using map viewer as a "Map hack" so i can get myself to the next difficulty quickly and it errored out saying there was not enough memory... maybe something worth looking into

Might be another leak than cause it was already there before this map thingy

yes i noticed it before the map viewer, and now im trying to run two bots on my pc which has made it a lot worse. one copy of DB will stay around 50-80mg but the other will keep climbing untill it freezes both copies of DB and D3.

yes .. that is why I added a memory usag check in antiidle that will close DB if it exceeds x amount on memory usage.

I just watched Db go from 390mg to 450mg memory usage in 5 mins

It's likely related to the scene caching for the navigator. I'll check into this in the morning. It should be releasing resources as soon as you leave a game though.

Code:
[SIZE=1]Some advice is if your going to be leaving it for over 8 hours (dont do this) but if you have to turn off unnecessary background applications, lower all the settings in D3 to their lowest setting (low fx as well), run as a windowed and also in diablo 3 settings file change your video class to the lowest setting (mine was set to 4 on detect but I reduced this value to 1).

If you run your character for super long periods of time its Diablo 3 can leak. As for DB I use to have multis open 24/7 for weeks at a time not updating the bot. I say update as frequently as warden updates so the benefit to restarting DB and making the runs you do as human as possible reduce the chance of not getting banned.[/SIZE]

Happening here too. I started at 5.85 GB today and now it's at 7.2 GB.
