DB Running like crap on VM

When I run the game on my VM it seems ok

but when I turn on DB, it stutters every 1 second

Ive icreased my Ram to 3gig now on the VM and its made no difference

If i run DB on my real machine it works as smooth as a babies arse

not sure what to do

It really affects my GPH heaps because ive tested it and when I run on my real PC its always double the GPH

I want to use the VM when I need to play my main

Ive tried testing both sarkoth profiles and core profiles, same thing pauses/stutters every 1 sec

I have a i7-950 3.07ghz
GTX480x2 SLI
6GB ram

On the VM I gave it from 1gig to 3gig and made no difference

Im using windows XP on the VM and win7 on the real pc

maybe I should try windows 7 on the VM ?
 
There's a guide with an ULTRA light weight win 7 install for VMs. Works great for me.
 
Nope spent all day setting up the win7 VM from that guide and still damn same thing

FPS is like 5

its something to do with DB, I saw a post of dozens of people reporting the same thing, but tony closed it and just said to report their log file
 
I have the exact same problem. It's running smoth for a couple of seconds and then some stutter, and keeps going like that. I've also tried the win7 vm-light without getting the stutter to disappear, although perfomance is greatly increased. If i'm playing manually on it it's running smooth all the time, so i it has to be some kind of problem with DB and a vm.

My computer-spec is almost identical to yours aswell, i5 2500k (OC to 4.5ghz) and 8 gb RAM is the "major" difference.

I'm running two identical (almost) HC-monks with same profil and plugins etc. One on main and one on vmware, although i don't see the GPH being cut in half, I got around 270k GPH on my monk running on main, and around 200k GPH on the vmware-monk.

I can live with this problem, but getting the stutter to disappear would be greatly appreciated :P

Are we just a small minority experiencing this problems?

Yeh probably a minority so they prob dont care much
 
Having the same issue here.
Running on trial account atm and this is making me reconsider my botting options.
 
Increase CPU cores on your vm. I got the same problem with 1CPU/1core but changing to 1CPU/2core fixed it.
