DB crashing on start - win10 new install

DB crashing upon starting up.
Clean install of DB via the install.exe
Log states:

Checked and ASP.NET MVC 4 Runtime is installed (via DB install)
Visual C++ 2010 x86 in installed (via DB install)
Checked for windows updates.

Have cleaned all c++ and .net packages, retried install via DB install.exe, same issue.

are you sure you followed these?

remove:

- microsoft visual c++ 2005-2015 x86 redistributable



restart your pc,
download the installationwizard http://updates.buddyauth.com/BuddyWizard.zip
run them as administrator.
after wizard installation is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart

Thanks. I keep on reading BuddyWizard as the actual client, not a fix for the c++.
