d3 always stutters every few seconds for a second. It's only when botting. Tryed all kinds of graphic settings. Tryed playing with affinty cores and putting d3 above normal. I can play all day myself with not even a single stutter

I leave it on over night, 99% of the time I check on it the next day, d3 is always frozen(not responding) within like 30min-1hr of botting -.-

How do I fix this. Everything is updated, from OS to drivers.

Intel Core i5-2500 3.30ghz (turbo 3.6)
8gig ram
Radeon HD 6970 2gig
Windows 7

whats your back and foreground fps values?

I get the same thing often. I actually came here for another problem, but I also just opened up a half dozen windows to learn about gaming 'stutter', but I have a good reason to think its db causing it and not my game/system. Im on an SSD. RAM and GPU preform fine. I think db spikes the CPU sometimes and causes this? Im using a AMD Phenom II. It doesnt say it ever uses more than 10-40% even on a spike and D3 doesnt use more than about 15-35%, but who knows whats going on.

It seems to happen less when im in a cave/underground type area where the map isnt that big.

Couple months ago I did, now a barb, and same problem on both characters.

Is there a way to get DB onto a core all its own? Seems to not let me via process manager.

I believe D3 and DB need to be on separate cores.

Edit: As I thought. I set D3 and DB to have 2 seperate cores to themselves and the problem has improved.

Nvm, didn't work for me :(

Seems like the longer I leave the bot going the more the problem exists to a point. I restart it then it improves again. Might work better with the beta bot.

I also have been having this issue recently...could be a DB 317 build or a Trinity .3.6 / 7 issue, those are the only things I have updated before it started to happen.

Getting this issue too, it seems to happen when im in trouble too, as in, arcane, jailer, freeze, desecration...

caused about 5 hardcore monks too die so far.. Really hope someone finds out why :(
