So, are these Trinity settings merely window dressing? Because selecting the customize option and checking NormalChest and RareChest only does not stop the bot from looting all the other "containers" in the game (i.e., Armor racks, floor doodads) which is a real pain because Trinity's logic seems to get really confused when it's trying to decide between things like attacking mobs, avoidance, looting objects on the ground, and opening containers. So, best practice would seem to be deselecting open containers at all, but honestly, not opening chests leaves a lot of money on the table, so to speak. It is a good source of legendaries.
But it can be both frustrating and highly entertaining to watch the bot spend a good 5-10 seconds running back and forth between two containers you don't want opened like a mother trying to decide which of her crying children to attend to.
Sometimes I really miss behavior trees.
I can attach a log if needed, but it doesn't seem necessary in light of my question. I just want to know if these settings actually work, or are supposed to. I'm not code savvy enough to figure that out myself. And, if they are supposed to work, then I guess I am reporting a bug, in which case you might want a log, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
