Hey guys, I started using DB yesterday and so far it's doing great! I have a couple of questions though:

  1. Is there a way to customize how to bot uses my stash? I mean by this, I would like to set up where it should put crafting materials and gems, so for example, all that would go in the 3rd stash, and usable rares and legendary in the 1st one.
  2. Other question would be regarding like a filter to rares, in a sense where I could set up maybe a combination of stats for each category (boots, shoulder, weapons, etc) and the bot uses that as a reference to filter what goes into my stash.
  3. And my final question would be about routes, let's say I have 2 or 3 different routes files, and I want to combine them all, so the bot goes to Act III (all act i.e.) then goes to another one in Act I, and then Act II, and maybe repeat the process once finish. Is there a way to combine different .xml files or whatever in order to do so?
Thanks guys!

Although no personal experience -- in DB, and bot settings there is something called "protected storage" in trinity you can set up different loot criterias -- by opening Trinity -- "Items" "scoring/townruns" but, for now i think you should'nt count on too much since the release of ROS last night EU .. atleast there will be A LOT of work to be done.

Just search around the forums and read alot :)

In DB, hit the drop down arrow on settings and click on bot. There are options for protected slots in item bag and protected stash pages

As for trinity, it only has settings for loot rules and stash/keep/salvage scoring.

Ok..and how should i set to save legendaries and put on armor chest, and selling blue items and destroying rares for material? (i mean on trinity)

Thanks!

I'm using DB with Trinity plugin and Quest tools I think. Somewhere in the options there's some sort of option that says something about some rules, either for stash or pick up items, I can't remember. Maybe there's a way to set that up. Would be sweet if I can set what goes where from my bag to the stash (i.e, gems would go to the 3rd slot, and craft materials to 4th). I think Trinity has something for pickup and salvage items, maybe there's a way to set up some sort of filter for what kinds of stats to look for on each item before salvaging it. Dunno, have 0 experience here, maybe someone has a better idea about all these stuff.

Thanks again guys!

Page 18 and on is a general explaination of each feature.

When configuring Trinity, go to items tab, then pickup. The item rules dropdown has different premade item lists that come with Trinity. I'm currently using Trinity Scoring Only, if you would like to give it a try. The rest of the page is self-explanatory in terms of what items to pick up...

The next tab, items -> Scoring/TownRuns determines what to stash/keep/salvage. Again page is very self-explanatory.. Salvage options: None = sell to shop, Inferno = salvage only 59/60+ items, All levels = salvage every item at all levels. If you want to learn more about how items are scored, just search forum, should find something about it. In general, it will stash all legendaries unless there is no more space in your stash.

There isn't an option in the config to selectively place items in specific pages in your stash. Bot will just fill up empty spaces available except for on protected stash pages. As far as I've seen, it's mainly based on item scoring and the item rules you have set. You can make your own item rules, but you'll have to learn about it first. If you're interested in making your own rules so that you can loot for specific stats or whatever, I would read through this thread: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonb...00470-guide-how-use-item-rules-2-trinity.html

I think this is what I was looking for! Thanks man, I'll give it a look and see if I can come up with something. If it works, I'll share it with some explanation. Thanks again!

Well, I created my own rules for trashing and storing items. That was really helpful, I will test it now. Now my other concern is about the stash order, I would like to store my gems on the 3rd slot, and craft materials on the 4th slot for example. Is there a way to do that.
Also, like I mentioned before, I would like to know if there's a way to combine different .xml Routes, so the bot goes to Act III then goes to another one in Act I, and then Act II, and maybe repeat the process once finish. Is there a way to combine different .xml files or whatever in order to do so?
