Current status of Wd botting.

Yup, been working on WD skills in Trinity. My WD gear sucks as well :)

I'm too cheap to upgrade his gear so I can run higher MP's...

Sure, run acid cloud with acid rain, any other skills... pets help, GF and SV are nice passives...
Then run a profile that builds stacks quickly and runs through high pop area's after that (im tryin out the vota one right now.)
Do whichever MP nets you the least deaths, or one that lets you kill elites in a short time, lets say less than 10 seconds. (im on MP3 atm with my 160kish dps)
 
I run this build.

It's very AoE centric. I have 155k dps and run MP3 as well. Having a main hand wep with LS is a key (Manajuma's knife) and they are fairly cheap. I went with Mana's Gory Fetch offhand as well for the bonuses...but you can probably run with anything in the off hand (a lot of people like the frog).

With the changes that Rrrix just made yesterday, the bot will now open up combat with Firebomb to initiate Vision Quest, then throw Acid Cloud. Plus, it keeps Vision Quest active now during combat constantly, rather than it being hit or miss like it was before. Overall, my dps has shot up quite a bit as well as killing speed (since with the increased mana regen, I can now throw a bunch more Acid Clouds), which means more XP overall. I am getting about 5-7 mil more an hour or so since the change.

Like d4v said, pets help. I run with 3 dogs, the gargantuan (between the dogs and Garg--they form a nice barrier between me and the critters), and the Scoundrel for more crit. As for profiles...that is a personal taste type of thing, but as for MP, d4v is spot on.

I run almost the same build exactly, cept I use Gruesome Feast with the frog mojo, keeps you at full hp+mana during large groups (which is most of the time). Frog mojo is a must.
Oh also I use spirit vessel, for man mode.
 
I recently hti up my wd again atm im stats are 130kdps unbuffed. 500-600resist. 3000int 500vit. I just love wynects profile works so good on life steal run like the wind barb. So i have been trying to do a spec that emulates that witchdoctor style. My weapon atm is a skorn 1406dps 4.8lifesteal thats all the life steal i have using this spec its OK, any ideas? barely scraping by with mp2. my idea is my dogs are like whirlwinds and i spirit walk when trapped bot throws up dots ignores elites and keeps moving. Works fine until things are on cool down. if i didnt have lifesteal on my int skorn it would fail hard.

Zorked Fom + Crypt 1.6.1
Ignore AND skip elites
Trask pack 5
Dont pick blues or yellows
Dont Pick Gems
dont use Shrines
Pick 60+ Legen
Skip dot trash 0.3

That worked better than the same with firebats build for me. (wich got to 35-40m max under the same config). Keep in mind this was during the last 2 weeks until last friday when i stopped boting WD.

Edit: forgot 3 things.... 185k dps unbuffed, tank templar and crypt running only level 1.
 
I've recently started botting a WD just to have one of each class and all my chars at plvl 100 for RoS (if my bot account won't get banned I'll stop botting and main it) and I've spent a few hundred mill on the gear and the results are quite amazing, almost as good as a cheap mp10 skip-elite barbs.

Gear: crafted neck, bracers, gloves and shoulders (ok-ish stats on all of them but nothing amazing)
4 set zunimassa
Skorn with LS
Inna pants
Witching Hour
Unity (cheap one with cd)

Aimed for as much survival as possible without gimping dps, 160k dps and 80k hp unbuffed.

FoM+Decay zorked edition, mp7, killing elites.

I went with zombie bears and locust swarm as main damage sources, with zombie dogs + lifelink for some extra survival. Jungle fortitude, gruesome feast and grave injustice as passives. Watching the screen right now DB shows him pulling 82m exp/h and 1200 iph, which is as I said almost as good as cheap mp10 barbs. I would have prefered if he used Soul Harvest - Vengeful Spirit on cooldown in AoE situations, otherwise I'm very happy with the class right now.

First off, stop farming MP0. That alone is your biggest reason for having crappy gold and LPH. With those stats you can do MP3 with ease...I think.

Are you running with 4 piece Zuni? If not, do so.
What's your off-hand? Run with the froggie.
Switch out Pierce the Veil for Spiritual Attunement or Vision Quest.
Spirit Walk---Jaunt is useless, use either the one that gives back mana or health. (mana is the preferred one, but it depends on if you are dying too much)
If you're going to use Firebomb, use the Ghost Bomb rune.
Zombie Dogs, use either Leeching or Life link. The Garg and Dogs are there to separate you from the critters, nothing more. The only one that really does any decent dps is the Garg when he is enraged, and then really only on trash mobs.

Big thx mate, i did all steps u said and farming now on mp2-3.

This build is awesome! I'm sitting at 55mil/hour exp wise, and 4 legs an hour. I don't have as much health and dps as you, but i'm rolling on mp4 1 death an hour. I don't kill elites right now. Do you think i should?
