I don't know if it's because i have waiting 12h or because i use another computer and connection (Ip) at my work...

You will need to stop the bot,

Open the game with a valid client (keep in mine your locations- You might need to disable GPS use nox to spoof your location) clear anything that need to be cleared .. Eggs ect..

Close the game client - ENSURE its closed.

then open bot and go again..

Please note... There is also the extended 12hr softban that causes this error above- So if your bot is doing that after you have cleared your client.. Its likely you are softbanned..

I just had my main hard banned last night. I botted off and on, never logged in from my phone, and always at walking speed. I also did not bot that much. I have not had any issues until this recent discovery and I am convinced this is what caused my ban. It seems logical to me that Niantic could use this as a way to determine who is botting. Anyone who has a session waiting on a "tap" such as an incubated egg, level up etc but continues to send packets to do other things in the game obviously is accessing the game from a different client other than their official one, thus, banhammer.

Not being a developer, to me this seems like it should be highest priority for the team. I have no issue starting another account but i would expect similar results until the bot can handle these types of events.

My Account ta lvl 29 and I think it took ban yesterday was logged about 12 hours and gave an error message and presented bot to wait 12 hours, but I logged on the button again and the normal rolled . but I logged again to test , I'll wait two days to log on the phone and check .

EDIT: Tried to follow guide by logging in from my phone (botting localing as well). Got "Failed to access game data" RIP this account i think....

Does the Dev team have a workaround for this issue or is working on fixing the issue? I had to start new accounts because my main was banned. Since the bot cannot click the screen, Niantic flaggs the account instantly. I created a new account an ran the bot for 5 min and got soft banned immediately. In early levels, you level quickly and need to clear your screen frequently. Should take the bot offline until this bug is fixed IMO, leaves us too vulnerable to getting discovered and banned. I mean I understand the risk that comes with botting, but this is just asking to get banned.

Please advise.

Sorry in advanced, couldn't figure out how to attach log. I literally just created this account and start to run the bot and it stopped in 5 mins due to the error above and got soft banned.

Walking / Idle...

the status bar keeps flashing Walking Idle. is this what it does when it gets to a pokestop? I have it set to jog and and 200 meter radius around 2 pokestops.

My bot will try to loot one pokestop, do it successfully, continue to do another, successfully loot that, then go back to the first one and try to loot it but can't because it's still on a cool down, resulting in an unsuccessful attempt and it having to retry and stop after a while. Is there a fix for this? Or has the bot got a glitch where it doesn't remember that it's already looted that stop and that it's currenty on a cooldown.

The best about all this complaining is that it took me legit 2-3 weeks to get to lvl 22. However with the bots I can have it on and off for 3 days and reach lvl 22. Point is if you are getting the "failed to get game data from server" with your account just make a new one. Niantic is for some reason focusing on banning people than fixing their Gym Battling system, which is confusing because the game is one dimensional at this point. Anyone can takeover any level gym as long as you have heals and revives. Electric pokemon are the weakest in the game, which makes ZERO sense.

I'm just trying to figure out why they are continuing to ban players without any notification.

I currently feel like "failed to get game data from server" is hopefully just a week long ban.

I have the same problem, about 3 days trying and cant solve it. I use the app and can play normal. Did you?
