Credit card fraud after paying for Demonbuddy?

I made my first payment to get the demonbuddy key couple days ago, today my bank called me to verify 2 payments online ( $500 and $800), in which i had no ideas. Those were unauthorized transactions. I havent used my credit card for awhile ( mostly through debit) and the last transaction i made was to blizzard ( to buy another cdkey for diablo 3).
Has anyone else had this problem before? I am not implying its from this site, im just putting the thoughts together and see if anyone experienced the same problem in the past.

Did you buy your DB key from here? Did you use Paypal?

Where else do you use your card information? How secure is the PC/Connection that you are using your credit card information from?

There are lots of reasons that your information could have been compromised, I highly doubt that it had something to do directly with the Buddy site. Thousands and thousands of members who are active here, you don't see these reports anywhere.

Best you can do is secure your bank account(s) and personal information so it doesn't happen again, open fraud claim with your banking service.

I bought DB key from here, used cc instead of paypal.
Like i said i havent used my cc for awhile beside paying for blizzard through battle.net client. I used home wifi, just me and my gf are in the house.
I cancelled the card and tried to dispute the transactions, will see how that goes. And yes i do agree there are many possible things could happen, which is the reason why i wanted to ask.
