Creating own profiles etc

Hello everyone, I've been botting for a while now, though I havn't really been much into the gold making part yet, mostly just BG farming. I'm wondering how people manage to farm more than 1k per hour.
I've been looking for a few good profiles, but none of them seems to be working out for me.

However, I noticed some people saying that it's impossible to get people to give out their own private profiles, and I do think I have the time to learn to do this, the problem is, I don't know what the heck is a good idea to farm. I have most gathering skills, but it just dosn't seem to be the best way to farm.

My question is, what better options do I have, rather than gathering? You don't have to tell me your awesome secret, but give me some hints, like killing mobs in special zones, or farming some special items. I'm lost guys! :-)

Without some sort of Shuffle and a bit of research for what works on your realm >1k hour on a single account is probably not realistic. I'm not saying that it is not possable, but you are going to have to do some real work to get there and maintain it. The kids that come on here spouting about "Dude I totally make like 4k+ an hour..." are usually a. exagerating or b.did it for 2 hours last week one time. Again I am not saying in all cases (stop writing that flame post). but the reality is that this is in the upper 5% of all Botters that can consistently get 1k+hr results over a long period of time (several months @>8hrs a day).

I guess the point I am trying to make is that it is pretty easy for anyone to run out and make a few K over a short time sampling, but to maintain that high volume for long periods of time is pretty hard. So in a lot of cases a good 500-800 gph method will out perform the really high output methods in a long term consistent scenario, and will probably be a safer alternative to the high risk high ban rate options.
People (the smart ones) do not just hand out their "Private" Profiles for several reasons, but some of the key reasons are: 1.Why create more competiton for your particular farming area or method of making gold? 2. It takes quite alot of work to get a really good stable profile up and running without snags or bugs, so why just give that away for someone else to make money on? 3. Once a "private" profile is in use by more than one person it is no longer "private".

Search function my friend. If you are too lazy to use it then gold making is probably not gonna be your thing. There are more topics concerning this and similar questions than probably any other Bot topic. I knows there's a ton of info, and it is a pain in the ass to sort through it all, but show some initiative and people are usually going to be more inclined to share some ideas.
 
honestly, go google 'gold making world of warcraft guide'----for the love of jeebus, create a restore point before clicking anything
take these tips and cross check them with your local AH---sell price vs number of unique sellers
pick a strategy, decide what steps you need to complete to execute said strategy--farming vs crafting
use HB to make completing these steps easier.---come back and search for profiles/botbases to complete the steps
win

tl:dr make your own decisions, no one can guess what will make you money on your realm and gauge your motivation

Thank you all for the answers, but DarkManz, I hope you know that I did not just go straight into this forum and write this post.
I did this after reading on forums for hours, however no one really gives up any information regarding their private profiles, and I do get the point why.
I just needed some info about what the heck was a farmable item, and I did actually learn something from this thread. So thanks to you all :)
