Crashing on login (installer and buddywizard also crash)

Hi,

I purchased demonbuddy on a trial and haven't been able to get past the login pageView attachment 852 2014-12-19 23.29.txt

I am using windows 8.1 which has .net 4.5 built in, have tried re-installing c++ 2010 and 2012 re distributable with no luck. I have also tried buddywizard and the demonbuddy installer .exe, which both crashed.

Any ideas?

EDIT: got around this by redownloading buddywizard and extracting before installing

You need to run both as administrator. I found that on a new install under 8.1 that I had to unzip the Buddy Dependency Wizard and run the runtime installers as administrator.
