Hi,
Since HB needs questing profiles now, I coded a tool that scans wowhead, filters results and saves them in a dummy xml profile.
This is not an HB plugin but a standalone .exe written in C#. Source code is available.
What it does:
- Finds quests by zones
- Finds quest givers by zones to blacklist them
- Filters quests and NPCs
- Automaticaly hides blacklisted quests from http://blacklist.honorbuddy.net/list.php
- Quest/NPC info: doubleclick a row to open wowhead's related page
- Generate an empty questing profile that contains "forced quest" and blacklisted quest givers
Small explanation:
"recommended level" is the quest difficulty whereas "min level" is the level at which you can get the quest
test.xml is a profile sample, you dont need it to run the app.
If it helps you writing questing profiles, I'll be glad to improve it.
Consider it as open source and under WTFPL; so if anyone wants to fix something, improve it or make something new with this, you can.
