amd 8 core might be able to run 20 @4.4, maybe more depending if there is a macro for less gfx and if you up the voltage on the cpu to get up to 5.0ghz you might be able to do more

lol don't tell my cousin that he wants to build a new PC around that CPU and buy 15 more DB sessions to use with it.
 
omg i have 8gb ddr3, i5 sandy bridg, geforce 480.. running 3 excellent.. so u can run.. 10 at least :P

I am running 6 right now but i use vs and i use isboxer to make my desktop look cleaner.

8gb of ram, 1tb st 7200 rpm 32mb cache hdd, gtx 470, amd 6 core process oc'd to 4.3.
If i had 16gb of ram and one of those nice 560 ti 2gb video cards i could run 10 easily. Cost for system less than 1000 usd

Just put that baby in my build about a week ago... I only have 3 copies of d3 and botting, and it kinda just laughs at it... Bought 16g of ram this week up from 8. Shouldnt have any problems doing anything now :D

Edit: Oh yea, the stock fan they send with that CPU sounds like a hair dryer when its kicked up, lol... Everyone on skype complains, so with that ram I also ordered a new heatsink :D No water though... Dont really do enough to overclock it right now. Should run just fine

I was going to drop 3-5k at newegg on a top tier machine, but I'm worried I won't be able to buy more demonbuddy sessions.

EWWWW 3-5k save your money. You can get a top end gaming machine for $1500 even if you don't build it yourself.

The
FX 8150 is 200$
MB 100$
Video Card 200$ if you wanna be spendy 300$
16gbs of DDR 3 100$
PSU 75$
SSD Drive 125$
Keyboard/mouse 15$
DVD RW 50$ can go cheaper though.

Am I missing anything ?
 
I am running Alienware Aurora (R3 with an i7-2600 boosted to 3,9 GHz. Corsair Dominator DHX DDR3 1333MHz 16GB, 2X 1GB HD6870 Crossfire X, Corsair SSD Force Series 3, 480GB. Running 3 bots on one screen, Playing Diablo manually on screen number 2, and my browser on number 3. Ram usages is normally around 40%, CPU around 25.

Yeah, what i had planned might be an overkill. I'll post the build before I order, any feedback would be great.
 
im running 6x on my laptop, i7-2670QM, Amd 6990 mobility, 16gigs of ram
 
Just curious why u all running so many acc:D , i'm guessing there money to be made . Seem like a lot of work tho .
