Hi all,

I've got a problem with my Macbook Pro and Buddywing, I was hoping someone could help..

so; I have my Macbook Pro bootcamped with Win7 on one of the paritions... for some reason when I have SWTOR open and buddywing grinding, after a little while my wifi drops out.

It's almost asif Buddywing is sending too many instructions and SWTOR cant handle it all, thus causing the wifi adapter to crash/overload

This used to happen less often, but I recently upgraded my Macbook Pro to 8GB of RAM and now it happens all the time.

I've already:

1. Turned off power saving on the adapter
2. Set adapter to max power
3. Updated drivers

Any suggestions would be much appreciated

Meh i dont think its a problem with SWTOR / BW in particular...
Do a google search and see how many people have troubles with wifi dropping out with OSX (mountain) Lion...

Yeah me neither, it's something to do with the wifi chip in my laptop but was wondering if any of you guys knew a fix

Are you using the drivers via bootcamp set up or did you download third party ones for the chip type? I had issues with my older macbook pro and just bought a USB Wifi Stick. My newer macbook pro doesn't have these issues.

only way to properly test this is a simple download that is very large. Something that doesn't cap bandwidth would be nice as well. Perhaps try streaming something. If the wifi knocks out then there may be something wrong with the internal card. I doubt however that there is any kind of connection between your wireless card and how swtor works with bw.
