two, pretty obvious questions from a noob perspective :P

1# is it worth the 1303 Euro's

2# d3 clients - i'm expecting to run 25 clients on this one. i think that processor can handle it!

feedback and opinions are appreciated, even from miles awaaaaay!

The thing with d3 was never proc or ram issues. It was how much video memory you have.

But yes that proc should be able to handle 15+ clients

Really? i been told and experienced its practically RAM + Proc only :O

Bought a PC 2 weeks ago

AMD - A8 3870 3.00 Ghz. 16GB RAM and 1gb gfx card.

was @ like 8 clients, i added another 1GB gfx card and barely improved cauz its probably the procc thats leaking.

*semi-confused! lol

If you plan to use it on VmWare it's def the proc and ram that matter.
If you run them on Isboxer the GPU will matter too I guess.

im not using any VMware or Isoboxer buddies!

i guess its worth the money ^:D my guess!

with how many dupes are out there atm why would you need so many accounts? a person with 1 account will be making more $ than you...

last minute advice is heavily appreciated <3 ^_^!

You are not going to be able to run anything close to 25 clients. My guess.

what would be missing out on the computer in your opinion?

The vram will probably limit you.

I got a i7-2700k, 32gb ram, 560ti with 2gb vram. I can run 10 instances but this will eat up 90-100% of cpu, 90-100% of gpu, 13gb ram, 1800mb vram. I know that your machine is better but that won't make it possible to more then double your result. My bet is that it might run ~15 instances. Let me know as soon as you've got that machine running. I can only do assumptions and I am interested in this as well!

I only can tell you if you like 2 run all instances @ VM's ur graphic card is overpowerd and your CPU 2 low :)
I'm running 6 instances in different VMs with 90 % CPU usage and 300 W :) ( i7 3770K , OC @ 4,4ghz )

Also think about your energy costs :) this is what ll be expensive :) think a lot more about energy friendly and saftyness :) IF it would be possible to run 25 instance on a intel cpu ... and 25 instances get banned at once... haha this would be very funny ^^

vram doesnt matter... if you have enaugh RAM :) and you run it through VM also i would recommend you a SSD if you like VM

good luck
