compatibility issue

Gatherbuddy 1.7.4.6 Goldseller

Cannot run this with my Windows 7 64-bit home edition - tried multiple compatibility modes with no effect - all I get is the error message saying that it needs to download some files and restart but nothing downloads...

They have some file you can download and put in your GB folder to fix this issue. Look around for the fix.. if you can't find it ask I will give it a try.

I have Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium and I am running fine, there hasn't been a compatibility issue yet. If there ever was you could go into properties and tell it to run the program like windows xp, vista, ... etc

From the release thread:

If you are receiving the message telling you that Gatherbuddy needs to install extra components over and over, please read the following!

Run the GatherbuddyInstallerWorkaround.exe located in the zip archive .

Apparently theres an archive in there with the workaround. Hope this helped
