Comparison number of bots, gold per day

Do you manually mill the herbs?

Everything you just said is true with me, perhaps a long lost twin?
 
10k a day with 1 bot, mining and herbing. Makes my life easy when it comes to gearing up for icc, buy 4 boe's on the ah, a couple of t9 pieces, and bam, 5k gs in a day and I can start icc. Gotta love GB XD.

Na i run 3 bots every night and usually sell at the peaks on my ah. My bots run 8 hours a night gathering. 3k profit is a very good day on the ah for me after 8 hours. They gather ores and herbs which are relatively the same profit on my server. Sometimes i switch over to farm leather just to keep some arctic furs up, but those nights typically earn only 1k in leather/furs.

I have 20 slot bags which equal 96 spaces. They highest priced herb stack besides lotus is lichbloom, which sells in a 30-60g range. There are no profiles where u can fill 96 spaces in lichbloom during an 8 hour period. If you did you would make 2880-5750. However 1/2 your spaces are going to be icethorn which brings in a whooping 20g per stack at its high and more typically 16g. This knocks the profit to between 2208-3643 with bags of 1/2 lichbloom and icethorn. You will end up with a stack of lotus and eternal life which each get +/- 400g.

10k might be possible but you are not doing it in 8 hours. 8 hours on a stable ah'd server is closer to 3k.

FYI saronite bars have really jumped in price the last month, so periodically I have been switching to ore only runs which currently seem to net a little more profit atm
 
Hardly impossible to get 10 a day with one bot =\. I spend maybe 12 hours a day gethering, mining and herbing, only proffesion I use is jc for titanium prospecting, then sell the uncut gems and dust on the ah. If I oculd be bothered to make rings, disenchant, sell those mats too, make inks/flasks, I presume I'd make lots but.. That's not why I bot now is it :p.

It's easy, but very server/economy dependant. I sell at 5am on the AH, when it's near empty, my items are always ready for the flood of people in the next 6 hours, all sell out with ease, never any expired. I come back after pvp botting to a mail box filled with 9, 10k of cash..
 
I bot on a mid-populated realm (and soon on a second realm).
I have two bots on Horde side and one on Alliance side.
One bot only farms Wintegrasp (Horde) and the Alliance bots change every day. (Of course they're never in the same area^^). There are some other botters on my realm but not very much.
I make avout 3-5k/12 hour (depends on luck etc). I sell all farmed goods to private buyers because the amounts are to big for the ah and I think ah gets you banned.
Prices(per stack the number in bracktes is the ah price:
Lichbloom :20g (35-45)
Icethorn: 15g (20g)
other herbs : 15g (20g)
Frost lotus:15g/one (20g)
Eternals and gems get listed in the ah...prices are really unstable.I can sell everything I farm. Gold is sold to private buyers for 2?/1k

The whole thing works out pretty well for me...Im just about to expand to a second server :)

I would say your server is just overfarmed^^I'm going to look for the nodes/h tomorrow and tell you
 
As some people make a lot more gold i wrote down some stats of 2 of my bots. Perhaps you can post the same for comparison.

Farming in Sholazar Basin, Herbs + Mining, both have 280% mounts

Another thing i just thought about...what do you do with the gathered things?

I sell everything directly to buyers or via ah. When i read some posts i think i could make a lot more with using proffesions.

Could someone write down whats the best that i can make out from herbalism + mining? I have several other chars with blacksmithing, alchemy, jewelcrafting.

mate , my opinion is to stop mining and herbing and start farming pets, i farm like 5 emerald whelplings a day and on ym server sell for 15k each and i make 75k a day
 
why is everyone posting about those pets lately? they will get hyped and no1 of you are going to be able to sell them anymore cuz every1 is botting them and will be undercutting you (just like what happened with elementium ore)
 
elementium ore was going to be raped.. and so they did :P
pet's are 1% drop (the most profitable ones is around 0.07 actually :S )

pets are:
collectable = collectors wanna pay huge loads for em :P
cute = yes, that is a factor..
profitable = indeed ;D
worth the time = RNG is a bitch.. always has been.. always will be
