combat routines with trinity

I am looking to come back for S16 when bot is updated but I noticed the combat routine forum section is not as active. My question is that, does trinity know which build/spec to do base off my items? if not, how would I get an updated combat routine?

1) There's a generic routine that will just use your skills regardless.
2) There are item-specific (according to the items like you said) builds in Trinity. Giving that the game hasn't really changed in ages, it should work just fine for S16.
