Has anyone else noticed that once we left our respective bots to come to this, that's when bans started happening? I had mygobot and it ran great with no bans non-stop. They get shut down and we get free memberships to pokefarmer. a day or 2 after using this, everyone is getting banned all over the place. I still run necrobot and not a single blink of a ban. Pokefarmer? 2 banned accounts using this bot. Either the bot is really lousy or our information is being sold/given to niantic. I have stopped using this bot and using others. no banned accounts yet. I'm not saying leave, I'm just giving food for thought.
Normally, I would not respond to something as crazy as the above post, although due to the absurdity I will make the exception. I have been a customer for many years now and bossland and team have done nothing but do everything in their power to ensure they keep our accounts as safe as possible (with the information that they know of). They spend money and resources that NO OTHER BOT company has done to my knowledge.
The statement above is just non-sense and makes absolutely no sense on any part. First off, Ninantic has been having server stability issues, etc... for weeks due to the ridiculous amount of people botting 30-40 accounts all at once in addition, taking over Gyms and having extremely high level characters and pokemon that should not have been possible with the age of the account. Ninatic had to do something and started with making the first "biggest" change that "we" the end user were aware of when botting which was the API change.
If Ninatic was your company ... what would you do? I bet you would start using not only a ban stick but probably cut down a tree and use the whole damn thing....a ban tree! It was the only next logical step and what Ninatic has done in their previous games as well.
If you look at the way the bots work today, they were put together as a fast way to get your pokemon and exp without any regard to pathing (water for example), teleportation, etc... It does not take much to do a query and see who your outliers are and those that are botting.
Anyhow the ban wave was coming, everyone knew it although we did not know when exactly until after the last API change raised some eyebrows about how Ninatic could pull information that we never thought about before when botting.
Logically it makes no sense with your conspiracy theory that PokeFarmer is the reason you are getting banned, think of all of those that never used the product to begin with that are banned and bossland never had their information in addition to how would selling information, etc... even remotely enhance sales and progress bossland's business? That is just a flat out stupid statement and accusation to make.
With your same crazy logic, I could argue that MyGoBot sold your information and knew the bans were coming and sold out to bossland so they could gain and profit.
Bossland would never sell our information or do anything to put our accounts (free or not) at risk.
Just suck it up and understand you are CHEATING and the ban waves will come and continue to come and you risk it each time you decide to use any third party application, hack, cheat, etc...
I can guarantee based on my years of experience with bossland that they will continue to improve and prevent detection to the best of their ability and knowledge.
