In my server , Herbs make more money than mining. Well atleast in terms of icethorns/lichblooms vs saronites, obviously ORE is more valuable but hard to come by. Anyhow of the three professions you can learn engineer (cloud gather) , mining, herbing

What makes you more profit for the combination of two?

mining+cloud
herbin+cloud
herb+mining

im curious to know if its profitable to do cloud? or not, anyone tested it lately

i made 1kg selling about a fifth of the eternals i got from farming clouds the other day. Spent 5hrs farming... put a fifth of what i got on the AH and within 24hrs made 1k gold. Not bad :) it doesnt' happen all the time but at that rate.. i'll be making pretty good gold out of that. But if you flood the market too much too fast.. prices will drop. So keep that in mind no matter what you do for making gold.

I've made a few cloud profiles and honestly was the best decision i made so far as profiles go. Has been worth the time making and fine tuning them for my situations. I would recommend that if anyone here wants to do cloud farming that they check into teh GB profile making and work on their own. Best addon's is teh Gatherer Addon with the WoWHead database also. (works for all gathering professions when it comes to profile making). Once you learn to use that addon in the game, its almost idiot proof on making a profile with GB.
