Clicking Questgiver or NPC for hours

So, just for fun'zies i made a priest and ran a 1-12 profile.

After the little intro zoom in, it grabbed the first quest (telling me to talk to someone else) and instead it stopped and clicked the NPC about 25 times before i shut it off.

I'll try messing with the pre-reqs for the STV one, but i think it's something else.

well, do a complete new install, default CC's and grab a new copy of mordds breakneck profile make a new toon and give it a try, see if your still having the issue.
 
Just as a follow up...

I went home and messed around with the pre-req's as Joker said. They did- in-fact make a difference, but it seems like every other quest is bugged.

I've spent most of my time doing all of them by hand - because it will do one, then require me to manually do 3, then do 1, etc..

Looks like that was a part of the problem though.
 
its my profile that is causing the issue, when I moved the quest pickups for every level I did not consider chains. In other words if you start the profile and you havent done a quest it needs before you get to the next part in the chain, it will hang. I am working on fixing this but it will take time.With cata just 2 months away it would be alot of work to just have it cleared.

That's good info to have.

Any suggestions on other questing profiles to try for a lev 44 human pally in the mean time?

A grinding profile is probably best at this point. Just get to 45 and start on the next profile.

Mordd's Breakneck 60 (lvls 45-60) grinds from 45 to 47 in Tanaris anyway.

Are their any questing profiles that are not broken? Horde or Alliance?
 
As long as you start them at the beginning, there shouldn't be any problems. The issues you ran into were because you started using the profile in the middle and hadn't completed the prerequisite quests.

Mordd's Breakneck 60 starts at level 45 ... so as long as you start it at 45 you should be fine.
 
I ran Mordd's Breakneck and I didnt have any problems with the quest in STV that you are stuck on.
