Hey, bud. Hope you're doing well. Thought you should check this post out, from Bossland, before you make posts like this again. It was linked in the original post - sorry if you didn't catch that.

Many of you wonder, why we have said, that Arena will no longer will be available.

Actually, since the beginning of Honorbuddy, Arena was the only section of the game where we actually never wanted our bot to be. There where many requests in the forums and we always declined them. We did not want to automate Arena. The main reason for this was, that this is the only thing in WOW that had the one-on-one spirit of competition. And we wanted to leave it that way. The decision came from above, from Bossland and from Hawker.

As you can see in one of the typical requests, we always declined to involve HB with the Arena*:

If you search harder you will most likely find many such posts.

Why the recent change then? Again it is not a change, it is something we decided long ago but did not enforce.

We are now just making sure it stays the way it was supposed to be since 2010. That said, we are also looking into Battlegrounds.

We approved Honorbuddy to be used in Battlegrounds since its first release but we will look into that again and tell you if we have a change of mind very soon. Or maybe, just maybe Blizzard opens the "Bottlegrounds" with patch 6.2., exclusively for us paying customers.

I am also very sorry about the censorship that took place in this forum, i have reopened most of the threads. You are always free to discuss relevant matters in our forums.

Do you think that combatroutines in pve are destroying the competition on challengemode and Realmbesttimes? i would say yes,.. and that lets be real,... WoW isnt competitive anymore or well,.. since Woltk anymore. and i doubt that someone of the highpvplers who are playin on blizzcon do even care? Cause even playin arena with combatroutines, still needs tactic and own timing with 2+ more people^^

arena and battlegrounds are not a "one-on-one" competition and that was also never planted, intented or the thinking of the blizzdevs^^ and i could also imagine that most honorbuddyusers arent grouped up.

It should not be used in Arena or be developed then sold. If you were that guy who could code an entire bot base and routine to work flawlessly in arena while keeping it to yourself then give yourself a pat on the back because what one does not know does hurt so thumbs up.

This thread's not going to last long...You can tell people to keep it civilized all you want, but it won't stay that way. You have no control over what's posted here. Additionally, there's already a thread to discuss this matter that's an official thread.

As you stated in your initial post, it doesn't matter what yours or anyone else's opinion is. HB is a business, we're using their software, they can do whatever they want with it and you have no say in the matter. Just like Blizz can ban you and you have no say in the matter.

It's pretty obvious from your other posts in this thread OP that you are trying to stir something up.This really doesn't need to discussed anymore, the decisions been made, and even if they choose to remove BG's in the future, there's nothing you or anyone else can do about it.

I think it's done pretty well (for the most part) in terms of discussion.

I don't see how you get that I am "trying to stir something up" when I am merely trying to discuss the issue. If that were the case, then every thread is being created to "stir something up" in your eyes. Discussion forums are made just for that: discussing. I am trying to take advantage of that. With that, I want to learn as much as I can from HB staff as well as discuss with other members how they feel about the decision that has been made and the possible decision about battlegrounds.

I use HB for PvE. I used it twice in BG just days before the banwave.

Realistically, I'm not a big fan of botting PvP. Botting takes the challenge out of it, and makes it unfair to non-botters. PvP (esp arena) is supposed to be a test of a players' skill. It's PvP not PvB (Player vs Bot). BGs, dungeons, and raids are fine. I don't really care about those- I will use a CR in a heartbeat if I'm running those.

you know what's the funny thing is the bot was made to make thing easier for you farm gold,mats,grind rep, farm mounts do raids and pvp, it advantage in any aspect if you compare to a player who dose this with out third party program . And now we are talking about not justice for far play LOL, that's how I feel about this, why it took you guys 3 years to disable bot in arenas? why you didn't block it at start, cuz there is many people who paid for honorbuddy just for pvp and plus the Cr witch they bought like my self, if you think I am qq right now then not really, it just funny how this guys are having everything under control, talking about "Graet Community" kind ripping peeps off , Well the only thing I can say Good luck guys in future, all game aspect are competitive so no need arenas only, that's kind it what I wanted to say. thats the point,.. its the same mistake like blizzard did with disable flying for a xpac^^ and still trouging out flyingmounts^

the devs meshed ALL the maps. it was easier to queue them up and get them done at once rather then pick and choose or come back to them later if need be. on top of that those meshes were never debugged, so they could have navigation issues all over the place, as we've never tested them. lots of dungeon meshes needed modifications before they were afk able.

just because a CR says "PVP" does not automatically mean "For Arena" they where designed and can still be used in battlegrounds.

btw, you gain HONOR in Battlegrounds. you again Arena Points in Arena. so since its not called ArenaPointBuddy your wrong.

As its already been said , Bossland got WAR from Blizzard and have ZERO clue how they wheere detected and now DESPERATELY try some low preofile...there IS no "low" profile its a BOT ! and to eberyone else ESPECIALLY the now BUTTHURT GOLD sellers using this bot for THAT reason and go on in all threads and try to make this bot PVE only to "protect" their gold sellign business and tell normal PLAYERs to SHut up and Fuck off and what else i have seen in these threads last couple of days, well a big FUCK YOU to all of you too ! ...see i ccan also be as childish and egoistic and ONESIDED as you guys can
