Info about this build

This is a major upgrade to the Cimmerian 2.1 series. Everything is ready for Cata. This CC will only work for PvE leveling and questing. It also works for GB2. I plan on getting this working for PvP soon as well as other modes. For now just enjoy this. Please provide some feedback.

Feel free to post your settings files for others to use. Please be descriptive.

Install

Extract the Cimmerian folder to your Custom Classes folder. If upgrading, make sure you delete the old Cimmerian folder first!

Since I have the code mostly wrote I will be adding Combat assist in the next version. It will look like this.....

I like these options because you can have the bot assist you in combat. running instances, pvp, anything. You get the great reflexes of HB and you still get to bounce around and look human. I may change the GUI to be checkbox style and allow users to control what they want the bot to help them with.
 
Since this is my thread, I was in the middle of posting a response to this thread here (http://www.thebuddyforum.com/genera...-april-21-22-23-24-2011-psn-down-error-c.html) . Im pissed it got locked before I could post it.

I have personally jailbroke my ps3. I very seldom play online and quite hostly I dont even have any pirated games on my ps3 as of now. I mainly just like to be able to control the system the way I want too and if I decide to download a game, well thats my choice. I have done it dating all the way back to the Sega CD and have mod chipped my Saturn, PS1, PS2, Dreamcast, Xbox, and Wii. As well as supercarded my DS. However I support the developers. My wife is an avid Wii user and when she sees a game she might be interested in she will have my burn a copy so she can try it out. If she likes it then she will go out and buy it, if she doesnt then she will just stop playing. Same goes for the DS.

On the flip side I feel that once a game is out of production and the developers would gain nothing from me buying the game at a second hand store then I will download the game and keep it. Much like I have the complete Sega CD collection. Sega CD software is no longer sold in stores and no money goes to the developer if I buy it online through ebay, amazon, etc. You could argue that the person selling the software would gain my money if they did sell it to me so they do profit but I tend not to go that route.

If game developers would offer more demos like Steam Online does then they would probably see an increase in sales. True that some would play the demo then find a way to download the entire game but those people typically never pay for games and the demo would have no impact on them regardless. The real key here is making games that are good enoph for people to buy. All the half life, bioshock, portal, etc games I have bought... why? because they are that good. The developers worked hard on them to give me an experience I will never forget. Starcraft 2 is another example. Epic game and I knew it would be when blizzard first announced it. Because blizzard has a reputation for making great games I was on the Collectors edition pre order list the first day it was available.

The problem today is that big companies like EA will come out with some shitty games and expect people to pay 60 bucks. If only they could hire real people to play these games while being developed they might actually be able to make changes as they go and release something that more people would enjoy and be willing to pay the money for. Gamespot is a place I go to weekly to check out the latest reviews. If the game is highly praised I will get the demo and try it out myself. If I think its worth the money I will buy it, if not, I may either wait till it comes down in price or not buy it at all.

There is a never ending debate on the whole piracy thing and I dont think it will ever end. These companies spend so much time trying to keep people from pirating their games but sadly the hackers in this world are much smarter the the developers. Most of the time the day the game comes out its already been pirated. Its like a locked door. If you really want in you just kick the door down. Anti piracy techniques may deter some but most will simply wait till its been hacked.
 
For some reason It keeps dropping target and retargetting....can't currently use it...any suggestions?

Mordd, I think he might be referring to what the CC does when pulling. It will use pull spell then drop target and re- target. I myself have seen this.

Ah yes. I know what is causing this and I will put up a fix in the next version.
 
I'd love some recommended settings. I don't know much about DKs. Or even a settings file to use would be awesome. For lvling, what spec do you recommend with this?

Personally I level in blood and farm in blood for all my toons. Front and Unholy will put the targets down much faster but you get little in the way of defenses and healing. My DKs can take down most elites and 4 to 5 mobs at a time without an issue. But everyone has their own leveling style.

+1. i have no idea what values to put in the selectin boxes to get the best out of the CC

any chance on dnd usage, also?...unless i just didn't notice it....
 
going to try this tonight.
I used simple last night with lazyraider and frost spec.
tank gets a group in an instance, gets agro (Pally tank) I ran in and the bot went ballistic
I pulled agro off everything and then he was fighting for his life IT WAS A BLAST but the healer didn't think so LOL
since there are no settings I could not tone him down so I just hand ran it.

Mordd I like the Combat assist.
I think it should be in EVERY cc as standard.
