Chest Runs or Ghom?

Hi guys,

I would really appreciate your experienced advice you could offer..

Right now i take about 13 seconds from the start of the fight to kill Ghom in T5. Averaging about 50+ games per hour.

My WD is slightly geared, with jerams, TnT, Cain's and Aughild's, but with a 2100+ dps weapon and a random mojo.

Most of the gear are average gear, not end game.

My sincere question is, would i be better of continue killing ghom at T5 under 15 seconds per game, or drop to T4 to kill ghom at about 7-8 seconds per game,
or to run the Chest Runs?

well the only question you need to ask yourself is, do you just want Legendarys to gear up at this point or do you want gold and xp as well
chest runs= high yield of lph no mobs rare deaths little gold no exp
Ghom= depending on torment lvl, avg lph decent gold and xp.

my personal advice would be to either drop down to ghom t4 and get 55 games per hour or run chest runs and get the gear you need to kill ghom in 5 sec, it doesnt take log to collect the gear.
also make sure you are using a good build for ghom check out the link in my signiture for all the builds you could need for a witch doctor, feel free to leave any question about the build in that thread.

if you by chance have tall mans finger(ring) and maras ammy you can do t-6 ghom in under 10 sec post here and we can help you build up for ghom.

Good advice. You have to choose between just collecting legendary items+ some gold ( chest run) and legendary + exp + gold ( Ghom). Someone calculated in somewhere in this forum about high torment level and drop rate. According to him, it is better off to have higher torment with a little less game/hour to get maximum rate of lph.

Ah i see, thanks for the replies and advice given guys!

Am running chest profile now to try to upgrade my WD before hitting ghom!
