Character profiles, the death of the bots?

I'm just curious how you guys think web based characters will work out? I can kinda imagine a lot of people getting shocked when they see character after character with 1b+ picked up in a couple of months?

i think web profiles is another way for blizz to flag accts since warden isn't doing it's job that good for goldfind gear. also you notice they post this AFTER the court date...

Just don't post on the forums, and keep your friends list extremely low. People won't be able to find you anyway else. Blizzard won't use this as a tool to look at how much gold people have collected, I'm sure they already have all of that.

You do realize there are different meanings for the word exploits right?

Far as people seeing this, just don't friend anyone on your serious bots. If you have a main account that is actively involved with groups of people then thats a larger risk you taking.

Death of bots; no (lol!). Really the info which they are putting up already exists on their side; simply putting it up does not impact botting drastically.

no different from how wow does characters, can be used to spot "unique" accomplishments, but not much else... gear score anyone?

has nothing to do with botting, they're just trying to add stuff to make the game less disappointing
