Chances of getting banned with a CR

Hey, I haven't botted since the bane wave in May of last year. But I was just wondering, on an account that has been banned before, is it remotely safe to use lazy raider + a Paid combat routine in PVE? Or is any use of HB almost a guaranteed ban on an account with a previous ban?
Any answers are appreciated.

Given sufficient time, the chance is 100% I'm not sure anyone feels safe at the moment, especially after the 18 month ban received by those who immediately took up botting again. Blizzard doesn't differentiate between harmless CR routines used for an hour or two every day and Hardcore 24 hour BG farming.

You take you chances every time to bot.

My opinion is that Blizzard would sooner see WOW fail than let anyone get away with botting. Given that, I've just taken the plunge using TuanHA for LFR.

Both times I got banned was just using a CR. All interrupts and dispels by hand. They were also part of the last 2 ban waves. The first one I used for PVE and PVP. The second one was just PVE. I just Raid, so the loss makes HB not worth it for me. If you use it to farm gold with multi-accounts like many, I'm sure the reward vs risk is much better.

Apparently the last tripwire fixed what was causing the last 2 major banwaves in may/December
But all Hb users were affected no matter what they used. If detection hits then just attaching HB to game will lead to an ban.
If no detection, then your pretty safe unless you got into LFR or Arenas and use a cr people may notice and report you.

HB is being targeted by Blizzard harder than any other software currently available, if you use the product, it's not a matter of 'if' it's a matter of 'when'.

Just using a CR, just gathering, just dungeoning, just fishing, just leveling, just using doing your garrison chores- it doesn't matter, as far as Blizzard is concerned *****ing is *****ing.

I do agree with you on HB being the no 1 target of blizzards smackdown on botting/*****ing but we seen in December and this year aheap of other bots/software get hit multiple times which seem to result in perma bans compared to hb 6month/18monthly.

I do believe HB about fixing the issue causing the detection or that last little banwave we had would of been much bigger like May/December. However It is only a matter of time before Blizzard steps the game up judging by the effort in targeting all types of *****ing/botting. If you do not believe it then that is your opinion as this is mine but they are only opinions no one truly knows.

HB did admit tripwire failed in December but it did catch on eventually so it ain't a given it will protect us 100% of the time. Blizzard can launch a new detection anytime and tripwire may not pick it up again or will do so way to late with a large number of accounts flagged. But at least with tripwire they can eventually find out what blizz are upto
Old saying goes don't bot on what you don't want to loose especially in this climate of bot hunting.

As many have said, it's not a matter of "if" but a matter of "when". HB isn't 100% safe, especially now that Blizzard has a hardon to target HB. This thread is kinda redundant though, since it's been asked over and over and over and over through the months. Just search around a little bit and you'll see.

True there are some perma bans, I even posted one myself recently but the reality is the bans are people doing risky stuff, there is no 40 to 100 people in a row reporting perma bans. Most people in perma bans admit to reckless suicide botting for gold or doing risky adventures not like May/December when the big detections happened and that last little wiff we got which seemed blizzard wanted to hit out just after the tripwire event but that is only speculation and opinion.

And I agree with you on it's great for gold farming, it's the only thing I use it for. I use another program for rotations that uses MAC currently. But in hb banwaves people don't get hit with perma bans unless detected with another program that was on 32bit which got my main banned then 7 days later all hb accounts farming went down the toilet only for 6 months, wish they did the HB banwave first would of got my main back in 6 months but such is life.

Probably been marked by payment, i.p or hardware or something like that. Some people do post reports about getting banned after 1 use or a few hours after coming back due to being instant flagged and a followup by an gm. Doesn't take them long to figure out by watching.

what do you mean "despite what the devs said"..they said they didn't know what caused the banwave and could only hope the updated tripwire would catch it next time, if you continued to use HB in that time its obviously more risky. now the situation is totally different because they have fixed what caused the banwave, so technically HB is as "safe" as it always was during those years of no bans

yeh that's not HB's fault lol, if it was ban reports would be flooded, sounds like you are flagged as anubite said or just have bad botting practices. sounds like a case of learn2bot

True, took 2 tripwires and 2 super banwaves for them to get the tripwire to kick in but like you said we will see in a few months if it really is fixed but with Blizzards bot hunting days it's a matter of time before something else happens so if anyone bots in this climate expect a possible ban or the way hb detection goes suspension till then bot and have fun or don't bot pretty simple

Now I have to disagree with you there, In December rapphus/hawker admitted tripwire failed and were so sorry for the accounts lost and even went as far as they stuffed it up and they had to update it for it to catch the way Blizzard caught them in May/December. Come on buddy LOL HB took off servers offline or manually hit tripwire themselves to stop as many accounts as possible it's all there in black and white disagree all you want next time I'll repost the text and links from there post(s).
True about they have other way of getting people but those two banwaves were due to detection HB team admitted it and with how Tripwire fail read statement in December

Like I said they updated it in December to be more aggressive or smart which it did catch out Blizzards way of the last 2 major detections which HB admitted caused them and plugged it. Then we saw most of those accounts that were flagged banned a short time later we they also said but was really minor they did not even take auth serves offline during it being so confident and minor.
Also for 64bit who knows we won't go into that since HB is not apart of it or else we can speculate all day

dude I USE HONORBUDDY FOR 8 10 years this is just a new forum account i know how to bot retard tripwire doesend protect us noob why would my accounts bee banned evrytime il bot and not without bot i tested this i botted i got banned within 3 4 days and i only quest botted and when im playing legit i never get banned so they know when we bot.

Then why am I not banned?
I am an serial 8/8 account 24/7 botter one pc no change of i.p seen many many accounts get banned off this pc. Literally get kicks profile to get a fresh 90 to 100 in 1 day then send gold buy gear/quest in taanan and then continue felblight or firelands farming 24/7. Only time I see me bots all get hit together was in December besides that get the usual 2 or sometimes 4 hit at a time but rare and takes a lot of time and sometimes 72 hr suspensions which I don't even bother posting reports now on these forums.
If it was detectable they'd be hitting me way more before you and others too, and I'm nothing compared to some others who have 30+ bots or way more.
Like I said you have extremely bad luck, or they have you tagged somehow.
I tend to think the 2nd option.
