chance of getting banned while watching bot 100%

from one end to the middle times 2

Best reply ever, and OP i bot avg 2 hours per day, have been doing this for years, ON MAIN ACCOUNT, and have not been cought, but i do have a off account i bot on more and been banned a few times on that, but its worth it plus u pay game time with gold makes it all the more cheaper,

When I got banned in all the waves it was from detection, not because of what I did. I normally only use leveling, which I want, small amounts of farming and rotation bots. Not crazy auctions, no making millions of gold, just taking care of the tedious stuff I don't have time to, all while I was sitting at the computer studying.

You have a better chance on getting caught if you're fondling yourself at the same time as botting.

100% chance of getting banned/suspended. Honorbuddy is 100% detected, even headboss states this himself. The question is, how quickly you will get caught. That is all up to Blizzard. They cast a wide net, sometimes banning in big waves, sometimes in smaller waves. Right now they are banning less because they just introduced a new expansion and have a high influx of return players.

You can count on a massive banwave sometime between now and Feb. People will be pissed despite knowing the risks and honorbuddy will make up some lame excuse that "this or that failed to detect" while continuing to sell subscriptions.

HB had a good run but since blizzard couldn't shut them down in court of law, they invested those dollars in finding ways to detect the software.

So long answer short, its only a matter of time. Will you get your monies worth is the better question and that all comes down to damn, stupid luck

You sir are an idiot!

The bot has been detected only a couple of times in the past 2 years compared to the past what 6 years or so its been running? Recently we had a couple of tripwire events which if we where detected we all would of got banned again BUT WE DIDNT. Now stop spinning lies and talking shit and crawl back into your dungeon.

Next bigbannwave is November again! Always 6 months...

5/15 was bannwave 11/16 was bannwave and 5/16 was bannwave ^^

I've been botting on my main account for 10+ years and I've never been banned for it. You're more likely to get banned while moving gold around than anything else.

The trick is having common sense, good profiles, and never getting too greedy

Short answer: If you bot, you will get banned
Longa answer: IIIIIIIIIIIFFFFFFFFFF YYYYYYYYYYYYOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUU BBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTT, YYYYYYYYYOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUU WWWWWWWWWWWIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLL GGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTTT BBBBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDD

this whole post made me lol.
i actually believed HB was detected because of previous post, but seeing people posting here and botting for 10+ years and not being banned, i wonder what its all about..

wish we had an insider in the blizzard community telling us their secrets, that would be so amazing!

anyway, thanks for the great info and funny laughs guys <3
bot on!

If anything, getting banned is really not as bad as you think. You still keep all of your achievements and collections, only the characters and some titles are lost. But it's so easy to bot back to max level that it shouldn't be a concern.

Aren't those things bound to the account which gets banned, or are achievements bound to the battle.net account rather then the wow account?

EDIT: Achievements and Collections are indeed bound to the battle.net account and not the wow account. This gives me a lot more piece of mind regarding botting.

From my own experience I can say that watching the bot like a hawk will help your chances of not getting caught. If you have a second monitor for the device I recommend that as well so that you can always see it and get to it at a moments notice. Lets say that it gets stuck on something dumb like a fence post you can instantly access the bot and then play it off if anyone is nearby. During these transition times between HB2 and HB3 there is nothing you can really afk except maybe stationary fishing. Now can all of this change in a moments notice, of course. Nothing is 100% secure as exploits are found all the time. Maybe you should look into some private profiles so your bot wont act like all the other bots. At this particular moment the bot is not detected but server side analysis is a real thing and you can be sure that they are watching play styles and comparing that style to the average.

I think what people are forgetting is that it is possible to be banned from a banwave at any time. This means Blizzard can theoretically find a vulnerability and collect data for a month and do a mass banwave all at once. This means even casual use of the bot is at risk, and if anything could be at more risk. Think of it as someone who is using it casually has to use it more often throughout the days of the month to accomplish the same goals as someone who botted for 20 hours a day. The person who bots 20 hours a day then decides to stop botting for months after getting most of their game characters to max level; this person is less likely to be banned during a banwave as he uses the bot less frequently.

This is all theoretical, so nothing is 100% safe.

If anything, getting banned is really not as bad as you think. You still keep all of your achievements and collections, only the characters and some titles are lost. But it's so easy to bot back to max level that it shouldn't be a concern.

This is spot on, I've been botting on and off for years, since glider was first released. I've never been banned. when I do bot, I generally bot for 1-2 months, 24/7, but then I'll get bored with wow and won't bot for 3-4 months, so far I've been lucky in that the ban waves have all fallen within my breaks.

other then time online, i am pretty safe about my botting. I write my own scripts/profiles and don't share them. blizzard have access to public profiles and therefore could write detection that picks that up. I don't know if they do that, but I am a programmer and know it wouldn't be too hard to do.

Never forget the old story because it is very applicable to Blizzard and botting.

A young bull and an old bull are at the top of a hill. There are hundreds of cows grazing below. The young bull says, "Let's run down there and fuck a cow!" The old bull says, "No, let's walk down and fuck them all."

Someone takes the time to answer your stupid question and you don't even read his response. Holy shit.
i dont see a stupid question I only see ignorant statements buy some morons that think apparently they know every thing about HB they have been here for a year so he should. Hey lighten up you dopes. He asked a question , which his question isn't irritating, people like you with your alpha female responses is. Maybe he didnt see the guys answer because he has the forum skip douche nozzles answers. who cares if him asking that simple question makes him feel a little better. The figment of tripwire makes you and the like feel wonderful. to each his own i guess. I am just tired of people like you needing to get your daily jersey shore douche moment out and be a jerk for no reason.
