Bot isnt moving in some maps beware of possible bans....... Please let us know when its fixed.

Same here, on some maps (different, not always the same) the tank doesn't move. Next map he acts like he shoud, it is just on every 3rd-4th map he stands still.

I would also like to confirm this. It works for some maps, then it doesn't work on others.

We've found the issue, and should have a fix out soon. Could you check the log for me and see if it mentions moving to "0,0,0"? Thanks!

@Tony
You don't think that Aevitas finds the stuff faster when the people post the stuff in the thread where he mentioned that he want us to search for the stuff? Very strange....

@ Aevitas
Nothing with 0,0,0 in the log... But I can confirm the bot isnt moving more then lets say 3-5 Meters before he stops but "moving" is still listed in the log.

last time i checked your name wasnt within our mods :),so let us know how we want things to be done

devs are devs but the mods are running these forums

Right, but we are the reason why this stuff is getting sold and the forum does exist.

Well, nevermind. I just wanted to point out that it might be smarter to have all people with the exact same problem post in the same thread instead opening hundrets of similar ones. ;)

Any fixes yet?

Well, I have a few design ideas I want to use to address this issue, but I'm not sure which to implement.

One of them is just updating the profiles server side, and keep everything as-is. That's probably the easiest way, but also means no one will be able to change them but us. The second idea I had was to keep them in a Profiles folder with TankLeader itself. That'll allow people to change them, but also requires them to copy them over every single time we release an update, and most people wouldn't even bother so that's not really worth the mess. Third one was to keep them server side, but allow people to change them through a web-interface of some sorts and create waypoint "channels" that people could use in their TankLeader, allowing the community to easily set waypoints and artillery waypoints and stuff for every map, and everyone could easily "subscribe" to them and use them, without the mess of handling the profile files themselves. That sounds ideal, but required quite an overhaul and a lot of coding.

We have the updated profiles ready, but we're missing someone in the team right now who can give me the permissions to update them properly, so that's why that's not been done yet.

Anyway, the stuff I mentioned above was originally meant to be implemented in TankLeader 2, but if it's worthwhile to add it to TankLeader 1, and I can get a solid hotspot system going, I might just do that. I'm not sure which of the options is the most ideal right now, so I'd like you guys' input on that.

Anything is better at this point :) i just dont want to risk a ban right now with the bot not moving every other battle.

Hmmm, I think that the best think would be local stored waypoints because you dont know everyone who reads the forum and not everyone should know the routes I am using.

Please also add the option to change the hull direction when a waypoint is reached. This is really important especially for camping.

Regarding. Camping:
Yesterday Ive seen my tank camp three times a row (everytime far over one minute) with approx 10 seconds driving between the camping phases. May you reduce the time lease and change the behavior that way if the tank has camped he wouldnt do that for the next 2 Minutes? A costum behavior for every tank would also be nice ;)

Question regarding how the waypoints will be set:
Will it be via a hotkey during we drive ingame or via a external graphical programm, or maybe via a 3d heightmap used in a programm like 3dsmax?

I will write my ideas to every of ur statements. What about a option in Tankleader, when starting it the first time (after a new update or fresh install) which asks the user if he has already a privious version of Tankleader and wants to copy the Way-Point files to the current version. If the user wants to copy the file he has to enter the path of the gamedirectory.

Sounds like a nice idea, but it's a lot of programming and i think it is maybe to much for the regular user.

Personally i think the best way would be to have some kind of waypoint editor ingame to create own profile with the possiblity to adress the direction of the hull as mentioned above and for all the "I want a bot, but won't do anything for it"-User could have a option, if it is possible, like the window for "a new version of tankleader is aviable" maybe like "They Mesh/Waypoints/Maps have been updated u wish u update your tankleader?" Then in Tankleader a option to choose the directory from which to use the pathes for example Pathes/regular/ or Pathes/custom and in the costum folder u can save via editor. in the folders then maybe some subdirectories like pathes/custom/arty... td... heavy med light and tankleader chooses the right folder for the type pf vehicle using.

Well, if we go with having them in a profile folder, you'd have to copy them over every single time. There's really no getting around that.

I?m with local profile folder. Copying is easy task and I think profile making is more complicated. So if its possible implement local navigation profile folder what will override navigation server then we got both system. (dont know how much coding it needs...)

as a lot of wot mods needs a few file edits, i have no problem with that, can we not have say a standard set of rules followed if no user config found? or say 4 modes of scout, attack, defend and arty?
