Cataclysm : Guild Rewards,As a botter WILL YOU level a guild?

So im reading through the guild rewards.. there insane havent seen them yet?

I can also imagining selling a well off guild will be worth shit tons of irl money. It is VERY hard to level a guild but reading some of the achievements sound awesome for a bot or a team of bots to do ( Point: Critter Kill Squad, kill 50,000 critters)

yes read the list there are tons of reasons to level a guild....
NOW for the important part to us, will YOU given the risks?
Its obvious, say you run 5 accounts and there all in the same guild, all bots.. One gets banned,
GM: Hey lets check his guild tab..
oh wait theres only 4 other people in this guild
GM... lets watch the other 4.......

Its not uncommon for an entire guild to be temp banned for exploiting, a sister guild of mine even waaaay back in the day got 48h banned for exploiting BWL's first boss I know it can happen.
So will you? Is there any more risks you can think about? Any other perks? Can you think of a way of not getting the banhammer on your acc's?
Hell is it worth it?
 
The first thing im worried about is how much time Devs are gonna spend on revamping HB/GB for cata. Always worried about my devs.

Rubish. I've lost dozens of accounts, ALL my bots are in the same guild, the entire guild is filled with bots. And only single accounts/bots have been banned.

If there are things to get guild advancement that the bot can do, I'll try for it, but most likely the bot will fail miserably (unless a critter destroyer profile is created for teh lulz.)

I doubt 10 bots could win WSG premades, even if someone made a plugin to go for flags and stay in a group... and unless Instancebuddy supports tanking, I don't think dungeon farming solely by botting is gonna be possible.
 
My guild should be set, have 4 of my accounts in it botting 24/7 and have 9 family/friends who are all great at raiding and pvp, best of both worlds, I can play any of my 40 80s or just do w/e....

Actually, I don't make ANY money from it, the only reason I have / had so many account is for development purposes. I've not sold gold in months, so every account I have is paid out of my own pocket for the simple purpose of CC development. That is why everytime someone donates I jump for joy - because I can afford to keep an account open for another month without it costing me.
 
Wait so you think its possible, to have an entire guild full of nothing but bots and not all of them get banned?
What about the getting known factor? In warhammer we had a guild that constantly exploited, targetting auto assist macros, zoning into keeps using the wall bugs and downing the king of the keep without any disruptions etc... A few here and there got banned because people actually got together to get them kicked out. (I saw the posts on the main warhammer forums as well as a few off sites, they were that bad)
Here someone sees 1 bot @ X time... 24 hours later sees the same person with the same guild tag grinding away into oblivion. Do you think this will likely increase the possiblity of a ban? "Oh i saw a bot (using the same profile) in the the same spot yesterday! with that clan tag, lets research his clan"
Risk? Or my overactive imagination?

Same, so that means money.... + we don' t have time to sit and grind for 8hrs a day.

But I've only got one char tbh.... would I be able to level guild with 1 char do you guys reckon? it'd be awesome i'd make my own guild with me and a friend and bot it slowly but surely...
 
Cata has hit! Now ive made a guild and I must say the only way a botter is actually going to level a guild is :
Questing.
Just about everything else is seemingly impossible.
I decided to try to see how much xp I could get for my guild in 24 hours.
Guild lvl 1:
Manual questing on a level 80+ got me around 1 bar of guild xp. Not bad really. You could possibly level a guild over time but I dont see you getting to uber level 25 without real people, ever.
Now my big deal is the state of questing in new world with HB.
Doesnt seem to be any questing profiles due to geological changes and adding of new quests.
When will there be a very good 1-60 new world questing?
Is anyone working on one? and would anyone like to start? I am a profile creating noob. I made grinding profiles personal skinning profiles etc. but never did quest profiles. But I would help out as much as I can.
 
Anyone know of a way to powerlevel a guild using say 5 accounts? Ive seen 3 ppl on my server advertising to sell lvl 8 9 and 1 10 guild over the last few weeks there has to be a way.
 
Not that hard really, setup a leveling guild, get the guild inviter plugin and spam away, let them do the work for you and once its done kick em and sell it if that is really what you're looking for.
 
That is actually a good idea. But with me a big problem comes with that. If im in a guild with other people and I keep logging on so many characters at the same time people are going to get suspicious and most likely report me.

my method is level a zerg guild WITHOUT my farmers in it currently have 1 at level 9 and 1 and level 10 and once it hits 23/25 move my farmers over into it. havent decided whether or not to kick all. currently the guilds have 250+ people working hard for my money
 
Agreed, im in a HUGE guild, and see people signing in and out constantly every few minutes, so seeing that many characters with the same name would probably draw some attention, if you had very diffrent names and not everyone in the guild knew you controlled them and just thought they were people who contributed alot but didnt say much (because there are people that do that surprisingly) it wouldnt draw attention IMO.
