I never played the first GW.
So far (I have not left 1-15 area) EVerything is open to all. I see everyone else.
The AH you can check, buy, post from anywhere. But in order to pick up gold made, or items bought, you need to be next to AH guy. So if bags getting full, right click post on AH. It will have 3 selections on most. The amount most people want to pay, the amount post people sell for, then pick your own. The amount most want is under what it vendors for, will not let you vendor item for under vendor buy price. The amount most sell for (so far again I'm low lvl) is ussually exact price of vendor price after AH cut. Say item sells for 22 to vendor. People sell on ah for 24, says after cut you get 21. So you actually lose 1 copper. But it saves you time trip to vendor to sell off. Or you could just salvage all items and not sell either. With all crafting type items, you can right click and send to stash. Again saves big time on bag space.
Also. The bank, stash, all crafting items, are sharable with all alts. Say you lvl up farming away on mats, but never use. Start new alt. Have him craft it all up and easy xp.
Or deposit gold into bank, log into alt, take out. The gold on each alt is there gold, but you can deposit and withdrawel into bank to share to them.
Have not seen way to actually trade to person, but you can mail to anyone (except to self or alts as of yet). So say someone in guild, or someone in map has item they giving away. You say I want, they mail and its instant, no delay, no wait (assuming will change when gold sellers hit hard).
The game is kinda setup like a free to play type. As in anything extra you have to buy with gems. More bag slots, gems, more bank slots, gems. More char slots, gems. You start out with 5 char slots, 4 bag slots with option for 1 more. Not sure how many can have in bank. But only have 3 rows of space in bank. Fills up fast. The stash for "collectibles" the crafting items, looks unlimited.
At first you will get few 4 slot bags with quest, and easy to get from vendor. My suggestion, save up and buy 8 slot bags from AH. Just as cheap.
Also do research on what weapon you want to use and just buy it from beginning to lvl it up. Most lvl 1 weps sell for around 80 copper. While lvl 3-14 sell for 20 copper. I think cause most want new wep right off bat instead of waiting. The type of weapon you use determines what your first 5 spells will be. The 2nd 5 spells you get over time as collect upgrade points, and lvl.
So with weapon you get 1 spell, as you use it, it unlocks 2, then 3, then 4. so on.
Hmm anything else?
