Any guides on what are the better items to flip?

So here is my story.

I did this, but had to sit on the items for a long time. I bought a 160M lacuni and it sold for $30 on rmah. I would have been better off selling the gold.
I bought some 100m range set pieces and had them on the auction house for 2 weeks. During that time, I had the slots used up and couldnt sell much of anything else. I sold a couple. The rest were lost when the account was banned.

I sure wish I had sold the gold every day instead of losing $300 in items.

As somebody else already said: selling items today is not that much easy than selling gold.
Then you can be lucky and buy something at very low bid and reselling right after for much more....but thats just luck and does not prove this theory.

Its not that easy to buy item for gold and than resell it for equal, not to mention higher value on RMAH, simply because those items which are hanging for hours arent bought for a reason. This reason in most cases is that they got higher prices than thousands players browsing ah every minute are willing to pay. So You have to be either lucky to be first of thousands to snach underpriced item, or have very deep knowledge of market.

Investment vehicle mean that the auction house is not to be used for investing to make money like gold bars, bonds, 401ks, IRAs, foreign currency . Basically don't take your savings and wrap it up in gold and fireybrimestones hoping to retire off it one day

How many hours do you spend a day doing that? For me only managing items left by Trinity takes about an hour or more for my 4 bots. And I m not happy with that. (EU)

Its kind of an ongoing thing. I usually have about 8-12 active bids going, even if im not winning, The key is to snipe the bid at the last second. I set my phone alarm so i can get on before a bid is about to end. The bids I win are resold to make more gold and to make real money.

Personally, I stick with whats hot, like trifect gear and the popular legendary/ set items. Items with Attck spd, cc, cd, allres, LoH, High base stat. Really, all you need to do is to see whats selling for high with those good affixes and see if there are similar items with a low bid. I have to admit though, learning the market and how to work it takes some time.

Your right, its not easy and can take some time to learn. But after you figure it out you learn that its more skill than luck.
