Cant open hearthbuddy on windows 8 plz help

I extracted all the files to hearthstone and opened hearthbuddy, i put my key in and the screen comes up for a second but then says it has stopped working and windows is trying to find a solution

Make sure you have hearthstone open before you open hearthbuddy

Try following this guide to make sure you have all the correct things installed

Also if you use an anti-virus try disabling it or go to its settings and give it an exception to hearthbuddy.
