Can't open HB

Hello I have been having problems with opening Honor Buddy lately. I thought that it had something to do with the new patch but people are posting that they are at least logging into their bots. I open the folder with HB in it and right click to run as admin and then nothing. It doesn't open and then when the mouse pointer is in the folder it just shows as thinking but never stops. Any ideas?
 
on what OS are you?
tried a fresh Hb installation?
 
remove:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable

restart your pc,
download the installationwizard from here
run it as administrator.
after the wizard is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart
 
are you getting any kind of errors? or its just not opening?
 
he had you run the wizard, not the actual official installers. there is a difference. just give it a try.
 
I tried what he said and it was freezing so I went straight to the web site and DL the items.
 
Yup everything installed fine and I did a restart still nothing. Funny thing is the bot was working fine earlier in the day but I shut it down to load another toon and it just wouldn't reopen after that.
 
go to your honorbuddy folder and delete your settings folder.

then dont worry about it.

if you right click Honorbuddy.exe and click Run as Administrator. does that make any difference or does it still now show?
 
I get to the prompt that asks if I'm sure I wanna run the program then nothing.
 
do you know what teamviewer is? and have you used it before?
 
you can download teamviewer from here.
http://download.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewerQS_en.exe

once its downloaded run it and then pm me your ID and Password (its a 4 digit number).

make sure you have wow running and logged in.

after i connect ill be able to access your machine and work on it remotely to try and fix this issue for you.

ether that or you can reinstall windows, because at this point im out of stuff to tell you unless i can see it first hand.
