Can't launch DB

Got something like this as well. Only on my laptop though, can it be because it is running win10? Or can it have something to do with the new DB release.

I DONT think the problem is windows 10. I think there might be something wrong with the connection host.
 
get this error in the log when trying to connect from Australia and I've tried connecting to SEA, NA and EU.

2016-01-24 10:19:04,168 [3] ERROR MainWindow (null) - Error while authenticating
System.TimeoutException: This request operation sent to net.tcp://auth.buddyauth.com:5031/AuthService.svc did not receive a reply within the configured timeout (00:10:00). The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout. This may be because the service is still processing the operation or because the service was unable to send a reply message. Please consider increasing the operation timeout (by casting the channel/proxy to IContextChannel and setting the OperationTimeout property) and ensure that the service is able to connect to the client.
