cant install the bot

after downloading updater when i try running it i keep getting the error invalid size for launcher.exe. i tried installing it like 10 times now. help please

Not to sound like a total dick here, but when you downloaded the program did you extract the files in a new folder then used the updater ? you will get that error when you try and use the updated directly from the zipped / Rar file.

downloaded the updater from Archebuddy the Bot for ArcheAge . i put the updater into a new folder and tried installing it. i attached a pic for reference

What if you disable your anti-virus?
Maybe it's doing something to the file, thus you end up with a modified exe file.

(NOD32 also reports 3-4 false positives during the first update.)
