I have been unable to reinstall and or install demonbuddy for the last 6 days. I have been working on the issue for a total of 9 hours with no progress. The dependency install will run and tell me that demonbuddy is ready to use yet when i double click the icon it states " You do not have permision to view this file or application" Then the .exe file in my demonbuddy folder disapears....

I have tried installing to a different location to start from zero but feel there are currupted files still on my computer that are causing these errors. When I try to install using the installer, after everything is deleted it only asks me if i want to repair or uninstall and niether of those options work at this point. I have tried everything I know and have full permission on my PC.

While repairing it states " Error writing to file.... Verify that you have acecess to that directory" which of course I do bc I am the admin on my PC

Cannot figure it out! and will be posting a log file when I get one that is not from a cancellation

--- I thought I solved this by making an exception in my bit-defender program but to no surprise it is broken again.--

What folders do i need to delete to remove the program and all associated files manually??

What are you guys thoughts???

exclusion and firewall rules have been adjusted, i have been doing this over a year now and this is the first time ive had a issue like this. Once i have time to post a log maybe someone with some more know how can take a look.

It should like A antivirus issue when the icon disappears. But the permissions thing. Im not sure, DO you have any other sort of Antivirus maybe Windows's active? Are you the main Account on the computer?
When was the last time you scanned for malware, Superantispyware.com or malwarebytes.com

I have weekly scans setup for all of the following along with multiple other system tools. Windows defender is not active, I am the admin on the computer with only my account. This is why I am stumped on the issue. I have followed every permission guide line for win7 to no avail.

hitting a wall

make a new windows admin acc and try to run it from it

also pm me your Skype and we will teamviewer it
